The lounge is bright, thanks to two sets of contemporary double glazed windows, plus spotlights for the evenings. There’s space for a large sofa, coffee table and TV set up, plus a small dining table/chairs. The kitchen has plenty of workshop space, storage, stylish open cupboards for every day items and tiled splash backs. There’s an integrated fridge freezer, oven plus induction hob (extractor over), a dishwasher and 1.5 stainless sink. It all looks new to us, with hardy any wear and just as stylish as the day it was installed. We particularly like two features in this room: The lighting (a combination of rail spotlights, ceiling spotlights and handing pendants) and the recessed ceiling section above the lounge area…it’s just a bit different!
The bedroom is a great size, with space for a large bed, bedside units and large storage furniture. The same tilt and turn windows are found in here too, ensuring great ventilation. This room is neutrally decorated and once again, is in spotless condition- nothing needing doing in here!
The bathroom offers a soaking bath with rain shower over, a recessed shelf and an extra retractable handheld shower head. Fully tiled walls and flooring make cleaning a breeze, and the contrasting shower tiles are illuminated with hidden ceiling LEDs (snazzy!). The toilet cistern is hidden, furthering the modern theme, as does the basin, storage and hanging mirror. Crucially, there’s an extractor fan for those extra long showers! This room is also spotless, unsurprisingly.
Back the hallway, there’s a large cupboard that houses the efficient water tank, plus there’s space and plumbing for the washing machine).
Who’s It For?
Individuals or couples waning a true turn key purchase, with no improvements needed. You can choose to paint the walls, or leave it in its perfect state. It’s for those looking for off-road allocated parking. It’s also ideal as an investment, as homes at The Metropolitan let very fast!
