WOULD 100% RECOMMEND TO ANYONE LOOKING TO LIVE IN LIVERPOOL CITY CENTRE
Absolutely fantastic place to live in. Best value for money in any place in liverpool. Ellie, Chloe and Emma are great, very friendly and they are always happy to help. Before choosing The James, they were always helpful and accommodated my need for a 4 months contract until I renew my job contract. You get your own room and have your privacy but also has an amazing lounge and terrace with weekly events for socializing and getting to do new things for free. I have done a lot of new things and always seem to have a lot of things to do during my day. Amazing facilities. Free coffee machine I can get while commuting to work daily. Shared washing/dryer which i thought would be a problem but it is easy to book and you will always have time to do your washing (very organized and got an app to book). Best decision i've made to move there and I could not recommend this place enough! :) PS- If you're busy or lazy there's a cleaning service aswell with a small fee.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Best place in liverpool value for money. Right next to castle street and only a 12 minute walk to the train station. You've got multiple bars and restaurants and the docks is just down the road 2 mins walk if you're quick. It is not noisy although in the center and everything is organized and all amenities are close by.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I can't complain. Always prompt in responding and always been helpful in my experience.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Nothing really so far. I'm enjoying my stay. Maybe keep the big screen in the lounge if possible that would be beautiful and during world cup pls!

A peaceful home with the most thoughtful management team
I initially moved in for a six-month stay, but I found the experience so comfortable and stress-free that I decided to renew my contract for another six months. The management team does an incredible job of making this place feel like home. They frequently organize various social events for the residents. Although I am a bit shy and usually hesitate to join social gatherings, I recently decided to participate in the Easter event, and I am so glad I did!
The staff are incredibly thoughtful—they gave me a large chocolate egg and a beautiful gift basket, which was such a lovely surprise. What touches me the most is their attention to detail; they even provide handwritten cards for birthdays and major festivals. It is rare to find a building management team that cares this much about their residents’ happiness. I feel very settled and well-cared for here.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living here has been a very pleasant experience. The local area feels exceptionally safe and quiet, which is exactly what I was looking for. There is a great range of local shops and convenient transport links nearby, making daily life very easy. The street is generally peaceful with minimal traffic noise, and the overall environment provides a real sense of security and comfort.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The management team is very responsive and efficient. Whenever I have a minor query or need assistance, they handle it promptly and with a very professional attitude. Their communication is always clear, which makes me feel that any issues I might have will be taken seriously and resolved quickly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known how peaceful and quiet the building actually is. It’s hard to judge noise levels during a short viewing, but after living here, I’ve found it to be a perfect environment for relaxing or working from home. I also didn't expect the management to be so attentive—the personal touch they add to every holiday and birthday is something you just don't see in typical apartment developments.

Ignore the cheesy slogan, it's a lovely place with lovely people.
The development is wonderfully designed and furnished to a sleek, modern standard. On site gym has everything needed to cover basic full body exercises. The dining room is slightly egregiously priced, but would be great for a special occasion. On site team are incredible.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Not fantastic for parking, bit every other imaginable amenity is within walking distance. Some noise from the clubs over the road until 3am most days, but with both windows shut and either a television or some music of your own on, you won't even notice.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The only thing that might qualify as an issue was when my door lock was flashing red. I emailed Miri and it was sorted the next day.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The hobs are induction hobs and all of my favourite cookware was rendered useless!

Amazing place to live — brilliant team, lovely community and unbeatable location!
Living at The James has been a genuinely wonderful experience from start to finish. The building is beautifully designed, the amenities are fantastic, and everything is always kept spotlessly clean — it's clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the place to a high standard.
What truly makes The James special though is the team and the community. Ellie and the whole team are incredibly warm, helpful and responsive — nothing is ever too much trouble and they always make you feel valued. They also go out of their way to organise community events like hikes and get-togethers in the lounge, which creates such a lovely atmosphere. It genuinely feels like you're part of something, rather than just a resident in a building. I'd recommend The James to anyone looking for a place that truly feels like home!
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The James is in an absolutely amazing location — right in the heart of Liverpool with everything on your doorstep. There's a fantastic range of shops, restaurants and bars all within walking distance, making it super convenient for day-to-day life. Transport links are brilliant too, with easy access to the city centre and beyond. It really is hard to beat as a location!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any time I've raised an issue or had a query, the team have been incredibly quick to respond and always follow through to make sure things are resolved. It's so reassuring to know that the management genuinely cares and takes things seriously — you never feel like you're being ignored or fobbed off. Really sets The James apart from other places!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There's not much I'd warn anyone about — it really does live up to expectations!
