Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The property is in an excellent location, with the town centre, Reading Train Station, and The Oracle all within easy walking distance. Both covered and open allocated parking spaces are available. The bin collection facilities are well maintained, making the property convenient and easy to live in.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They responded to the issues promptly, and the maintenance team did an outstanding job resolving everything professionally and efficiently. Special kudos to Pirito for the excellent work in repairing the ceiling cracks, including filling and painting them to a high standard. Pirito was highly professional, responded quickly to the issues, and ensured the work was completed with great care. Thank you for the excellent service!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nice place with all amenities and communal living with various nationalities.

    Milliners Yard, L3

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is quite convenient, with a good range of shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby. There are also some nice open spaces for walking and relaxing. Transport links are generally good, with easy access to buses and other connections, making commuting relatively straightforward. On a more positive note, the development offers useful amenities such as yoga classes, which are a great addition and help create a sense of community among residents. The street itself is fairly quiet. I have occasionally experienced some anti-social behaviour. As an Asian resident, I once had an unpleasant experience where a stranger shouted at me near the entrance of the accommodation. However, despite this, the building feels secure overall due to CCTV and controlled access. The staff also texted me later to check if I am okay. Bin collections are regular and well managed.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management is responsive when issues are reported, and they do arrange for contractors to attend. However, some problems have not been fully resolved. For example, my window has been difficult to close properly, and although contractors have visited twice during the past one and a half years, the issue has still not been fixed. On the positive side, the staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful, and they usually respond politely to queries.

    Milliners Yard, L3

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local area is still up and coming, and there is a moderate amount of anti social behaviour and rubbish around. However, it is in extremely central and easy to get anywhere with Lime st so close.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Most issues are dealt with promptly. We only had one slightly negative experience due to long wait times on maintenance, but once this was resolved it was dealt with quickly and professionally.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The area can be a bit rough sometimes, but the building is incredibly safe and I have never felt at risk inside. Make use of all of the facilities in the building, it’s worth it!

Everything is available around the building , even the city center is less than 10 minutes walk , accessibility around the building because of several bus stops

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

When I report a problem , they usually address my concerns and make sure that everything is fixed

    Milliners Yard, L3

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Milliners Yard is in a fantastic location. So close to the city centre that you could walk it. There are even really good bus links right outside the flat that can take you pretty much anywhere around Liverpool, including restaurants, parks and other communal spaces . Grocery shops are also very accessible with Lidl and a Halal superstore being less than a 5 minute walk away. A SPAR opened up recently right next door which is great.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I want to shout out Elsa Coleman (i think that's her last name). She has even helped with general repairs for our flat when we moved in and that really helped eleviate the stress of moving in from a whole other city. She follows up about any issues too which makes me feel like she isn't just doing a job for the sake of it but actually cares about concerns that are raised and does everything she can to make us feel safe and welcome. One time we made too much lasagne and offered some to Elsa as she was the only person we could think of being new to the city and all and we didn't want it going to waste. We weren't expecting anything back in return but she made us cookies in return and they were as sweet as the gesture 🥺❤️ I also want to especially thank Zoe, Kevin and Kadira for helping us out with getting the flat sorted to eventually move into. They were very on top of the move in process and Kevin especially helped us deal with several issues for critical appliances (washing machine and toilet). There were times where I felt like I was asking for a lot when I moved in but Kevin reassured me that I could ask whatever I like and that it was his job to make people feel safe and comfortable in their homes. Which is really reassuring from a Manager.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I think the only thing was the amount of noise from the Gym next door and the level of repairs and maintenance needed when moving into the flat. But this wasn't something anyone would have expected so it really isn't that much of a negative for me anymore as all of it got sorted really quickly. It was originally a showroom flat so it made sense why certain things weren't working or as expected. But the team were really on top of getting the flat in top shape regardless which I am really happy about.
