Very happy tenants
Allsops and Jess particularly have been a pleasure to work with. We hadn’t moved house for 10 years and were very nervous but we were guided through the process and minor snag issues with the house were fixed very promptly.
Having two car parking spaces at our home is fantastic and makes parking stress free and has also enabled us to switch to an electric vehicle as a charging point is included as standard. The homes are beautifully designed, well spaced out (there isn’t a feeling of being cramped together), being close to the Country Park is fantastic for walks and getting out as a family. The play area is fantastic and we’re very excited for the community centre to open, as hopefully there’ll be a cafe!
It’s such a beautiful, green development with lots of trees and grassy spaces that are very well maintained and everything is clean and tidy.
The neighbours have been very welcoming and everyone seems to be very respectful of each other and noise levels are very low.
The house is super energy efficient, our energy bill has been so much lower, even with charging the car at home. That the house is environmentally friendly and has lots of features that are not often available to tenants (solar panels, efficient heating systems, charging points etc) is such fantastic bonus. It’s a wonderfully quiet environment and there is lots of birdsong which is such a pleasure. It’s also super easy to get about in the car with the traffic light junction at the top of the main street. All four of us are very happy here.

We’re a short walk from local shops with takeaway and grocery shopping options. There a range of bus routes, one of which that stops at the top of the development to get to the town centre for work or where you can visit restaurants, shops, cafes and local points of interest such as Christchurch mansion and park, the waterfront and The Hold (records office).
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very quickly and a resolution has been very prompt, professional and good quality.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The homes and area are genuinely beautiful, comfortable and it’s a very positive space. The only extremely minor negative is that as building work is still going on there’s a lot of dust which makes keeping the car clean tricky but honestly, that is the only inconvenience. We work from home and I never notice the sound of building work and of course it won’t be forever, so we can live with the dust!

Awesome living environment
The development has been satisfying so far, love the beautiful buildings and structures. Looking forward to a park with the community. Property management has been great no complains since move in. We absolutely love the environment and are happy to be residing here.

Living in Henley Gate has been awesome. Settling in with my husband and our little boy just fine, my son is in love with riding his bicycle around the environment while we take a walk as it’s completely safe from road. We are happy about our lovely neighbours te been all smiles since we moved it. Big shout out to Georgie and India for constantly being available to rescue whenever we need help. It’s been amazing being in contact with them since moving in.

They have been great since move in. Great response to email and providing solutions.

Life at Henley Gate so far
We love the design of the house it’s lovely to see that the grass out the front is beautifully maintained also the property management is amazing and very helpful Jess is very nice and helped with any enquiry we have and any problems are dealt with that day

We are delighted to be part of this amazing community the only issue we have is sometimes the parking spaces have gone before we get home it’s very quiet

We couldn’t lock the back doors and as soon as I contacted out of hours it was temporarily fixed the same night

Great development in a lovely setting
Since the development is currently still being finished, there is still certain aspects to the development that are yet to be completed but it’s nice to see everything being worked on to a high standard. The attention to detail in terms of small green spaces including the small children’s park is good to see! We have had good communication with our property manager regarding any minor issues which has been reassuring.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Great distance from town centre, not too near to any busy areas but good connections, being near both Ipswich and Westerfield station. Also close to smaller convenience shops and bigger supermarkets! Parking availability for ourselves as residents is good but also lots of space for visitors which is great. Barely any traffic noise also.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We have had a few issues regarding heating and wifi however our property manager has been proactive in getting maintenance workers to attend to these problems.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
We didn’t have much information/instruction or general communication regarding moving in prior to our move in date so this could have been helpful, It is reassuring to know now that our property manager is on hand for any issues but we could have been put in direct contact with her slightly earlier in the process to answer any questions etc!

Lovely staff and lovely house
The house design is lovely. Property management has been excellent, if we have needed anything, our property manager Jess has been available anytime, even taking time on her day off to make sure we got in okay on moving day and introduce herself. The whole process through, India has been an absolute star too. She helped us through everything and was so lovely! Thank you to all the staff but especially these two for being so helpful and making it a smooth process moving!

The only negative I can think of is that there is still a lot of building work going on, but it isn’t even loud.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We haven’t had many issues, but if we have needed anything our property manager has sorted it immediately.

We did have a couple of viewings prior to moving, so wasn’t really much
