Great Option in Glasgow
Everything has been wonderful when living at this development. The staff is great and needs are taken care of immediately. The building being furnished was a big plus for when we moved in. The social gatherings is another nice aspect to help meet people in the building.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location is great and so is the access to public transit. The building is well designed. The common area is a great aspect as well.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They respond quickly and are on top of building maintenance.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Everything has been great and I could not think of anything I wish I would have known beforehand.

The development is always well maintained with a high degree of cleanliness noticed around the property
The development is always well maintained with a high degree of cleanliness noticed around the property. Any issues you may have are resolved in quick haste by the development staff who I have found welcoming and committed to aiding you if there is an issue.
A big plus to the development is the built in downstairs gym on your doorstep, which saves the hassle of travelling elsewhere. I have never found it to be busy on the various times I have been down to it which has been multiple times in a week.
The bin storage area is convenient in its location and ease of use. As previously mentioned the underground car park is secure and accessible with ease from day one of using it.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The amenities and access to them is all you can wish for and more. Shops, restaurants, bars, activity centres, parks and much more in the local area with transport links such as bus terminals and stops, frequent taxis passing by and an underground and train station only 15 minute walk away! The area is vibrant and multi cultural with social activities arranged by the development staff allowing you to experience new activities and enter dialogue with fellow residents you may never get the chance to do in other accommodation.
Parking underground has been so helpful as although public transport allows me to get to work having the option to take the car out and for it to be safe when parked up is a big bonus. This is also due to the fact that outside the development people park on the double yellow line areas meaning a lot of space for parking is limited and parking can be at times an adventure to say the least!
Noise in the area, despite the “busy” nature of the area, is kept to a minimum with the flats offering great soundproofing from the buzz outside at times. It’s a development which offers you calm and a feeling of security.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Efficiently and effectively as there were issues with DD set ups and via various continual communication in person and via emails the matters were eventually resolved.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
To take more advantage of the social activities set up and ask for the possibility for certain changes to be made to “classes” at the gym adding new ones potentially.

A Great Living Experience for a Busy Year
I relocated to Glasgow to complete a year-long professional training programme, which was very demanding, but staying at Granary Quay made my living situation so easy and totally took away the stress in respect to my living situation. It is a beautiful, well-presented & totally stress-free place to live. The staff are so friendly, the common areas are fantastic for relaxing and for getting some work done. I think what you get for what you pay is totally reasonable, especially considering the building is well-insulated & modern, so you'll find your energy bills are a good bit cheaper than in older buildings. I didn't get the chance to take part in the social events put on, but there is always something going on at GQ, and it all looks great. Thank you all so much.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Granary Quay is situated right between the Clyde Tunnel and Partick. There are amazing restaurants and bars nearby (GaGa was a favourite for food, and the Thornwood does excellent and very reasonably priced margaritas) and the transport links are great. Nearest bus stop is a few minutes of walking, and Partick Train/Subway station is about 15 minutes away. The QEUH is just on the other side of the Clyde Tunnel, which makes this place a great option for NHS employees. There is readily available underground parking, for which you do need a permit, but I was lucky enough to get an NHS discount, so definitely ask about that if it applies to you. There is also on-street parking, but this is quite busy. Traffic noise is barely noticeable despite the building being right off the Expressway, which was a pleasant surprise for me. There is also a beautiful walk along the Quayside - great for joggers and dog walking.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any maintenance issues are sorted smoothly with minimal input on your part. If a light bulb goes out or the seal on the shower screen leaks, you just need to let the team know & they'll come fix it for you ASAP.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known how accessible the bus routes are. The bus stop is just a few minutes' walk away, and from there you can get further out of the city, e.g. to the QEUH, or Braehead shopping centre, or into the centre - this helped greatly with keeping down petrol costs, improving access to the city centre, and being more eco-friendly.

I highly recommend Granary Quay. A well maintained building in a great area run by friendly and efficient staff.
The building is well managed and maintained. The staff definitely go the extra mile, any concerns are dealt with quickly in a friendly and efficient way. There is a good gym and social events are put on for residents within the communal area. This gives you an opportunity to meet your neighbours.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Granary Quay is in a great location with easy access to all transport links including the airport. I used the Granary underground car park which ensured parking was never a problem. There are a good range of local shops, supermarkets , cafes, restaurants and bars within walking distance. Also there are lovely parks near by too.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I had an immediate response and the repair was completed on the same day
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I believe I was made aware of everything before I moved in.

Modern, Well-Managed and Very Comfortable Place to Live
I am very happy living in this development. The overall design is modern and practical, with well‑planned layouts and a good standard of finish in the apartments and common areas. The building feels secure and well maintained, with clean hallways, working lifts and good lighting. Facilities such as the bin stores and bike storage are easy to access and kept in good order. Communication from the building and property management teams is clear and timely, and any questions or minor issues are dealt with efficiently. Overall, the development feels safe, comfortable and well run, and I am very satisfied so far.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I’ve found the area to be a really pleasant place to live. There is a good range of local shops, cafés and supermarkets within walking distance, and several nice parks and green spaces nearby. Transport links are very convenient. My street feels quiet and safe, with generally good parking availability, reliable bin collections and very little traffic noise or anti‑social behaviour. Overall, I’m very happy living here.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has been very responsive and helpful. Any questions or small issues I have raised were acknowledged quickly and resolved in a timely and professional way.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I hadn’t fully appreciated how quiet the development would be at different times of day, which has been a very pleasant surprise. One thing I would suggest to new neighbours is to check the best routes to nearby shops and bus stops in advance – there are a few shortcuts and quieter walking routes that make daily life even more convenient.
