Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is great and so is the access to public transit. The building is well designed. The common area is a great aspect as well.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They respond quickly and are on top of building maintenance.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Everything has been great and I could not think of anything I wish I would have known beforehand.

    Granary Quay, G11

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The amenities and access to them is all you can wish for and more. Shops, restaurants, bars, activity centres, parks and much more in the local area with transport links such as bus terminals and stops, frequent taxis passing by and an underground and train station only 15 minute walk away! The area is vibrant and multi cultural with social activities arranged by the development staff allowing you to experience new activities and enter dialogue with fellow residents you may never get the chance to do in other accommodation. Parking underground has been so helpful as although public transport allows me to get to work having the option to take the car out and for it to be safe when parked up is a big bonus. This is also due to the fact that outside the development people park on the double yellow line areas meaning a lot of space for parking is limited and parking can be at times an adventure to say the least! Noise in the area, despite the “busy” nature of the area, is kept to a minimum with the flats offering great soundproofing from the buzz outside at times. It’s a development which offers you calm and a feeling of security.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Efficiently and effectively as there were issues with DD set ups and via various continual communication in person and via emails the matters were eventually resolved.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

To take more advantage of the social activities set up and ask for the possibility for certain changes to be made to “classes” at the gym adding new ones potentially.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is very convenient for Dyce and the City with good transport links. It's quiet in the block I live in - the airport is close but I actually love the noise of the planes having been brought up near an air base! There are lovely walks by the trees and river very closeby - lots of greenery beauty and being surrounded by wonderful Nature is good for the soul.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Responded extremely well by all the staff, past and present - they've all have been polite, patient, friendly and very helpful to me at all times.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There's nothing I can add - my viewing went well and I had read about Dandara rentals before I arranged to view so I don't feel I needed any additional insight prior to my move.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The overall experience of the area has been positive. Having an M&S nearby was a great convenience, so it is disappointing to hear that it is closing down. Bin collections have generally been reliable, and parking availability is good. During my time living there, I did not encounter any anti-social behaviour, and ground traffic noise has been minimal. The area itself is green and well maintained, which is nice. There are no bars or restaurants in the area, but I'm not bothered with that.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven't encountered any problems since lived there. One of my windows needs cleaning but they're currently working on this.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I can't think of anything specific, everything is well as I expected it to be.

    Granary Quay, G11

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Granary Quay is situated right between the Clyde Tunnel and Partick. There are amazing restaurants and bars nearby (GaGa was a favourite for food, and the Thornwood does excellent and very reasonably priced margaritas) and the transport links are great. Nearest bus stop is a few minutes of walking, and Partick Train/Subway station is about 15 minutes away. The QEUH is just on the other side of the Clyde Tunnel, which makes this place a great option for NHS employees. There is readily available underground parking, for which you do need a permit, but I was lucky enough to get an NHS discount, so definitely ask about that if it applies to you. There is also on-street parking, but this is quite busy. Traffic noise is barely noticeable despite the building being right off the Expressway, which was a pleasant surprise for me. There is also a beautiful walk along the Quayside - great for joggers and dog walking.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any maintenance issues are sorted smoothly with minimal input on your part. If a light bulb goes out or the seal on the shower screen leaks, you just need to let the team know & they'll come fix it for you ASAP.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how accessible the bus routes are. The bus stop is just a few minutes' walk away, and from there you can get further out of the city, e.g. to the QEUH, or Braehead shopping centre, or into the centre - this helped greatly with keeping down petrol costs, improving access to the city centre, and being more eco-friendly.
