Move in
The building itself is so beautiful, it genuinely feels like I’m living in a hotel/airbnb. I still can’t believe I get to call deansgate my home. The lobby is very spacious and always smells really good. The concierge are amazing, a special shoutout to Oliver and Anne-Marie, they’ve helped make my move in day super easy and smooth and have been there to help me every step of the way. They’ve both been amazing and I’m very excited to get to know the both of them better this year.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I’ve just moved into the property and I have never felt happier. The location is really central and close to everything. The parking is easily accessible and feels very safe!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
i haven’t had any issues so I cannot answer this question.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Nothing, everything was very clear! Made the move in process very easy.

Modern, convenient and the most amazing staff!
I love the design, really fresh and modern and gives a proper homely vibe. The gym is superrr convenient and having the workspaces downstairs too. My favorite thing was the staff, Eleni and Amaan especially- for the 3 years of being there, would always go above and beyond for the residents!
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Great area and very convenient. Transport links within a 10 minute walk (maximum), plenty of nearby shops. It’s a lively area without the anti-social behaviours. Only issue is parking, only option is on street parking (mostly paid) or to pay for a space in the car park- but it’s expected being within the city centre.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
As well as they could’ve. I was very unlucky and had a few things happen that were not necessarily in my control (nor at the fault of management). But issues tended to be resolved quickly and Ben in maintenance was always so friendly and reliable. A great guy.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I knew the extent of how much work and how long the work to the building would take (for noise purposes, especially working from home) . I’m pretty sure it’s over now so shouldn’t be a problem for any future residents. But besides that, everything was great and got what I expected.

Best place to stay
Living at Hove Gardens has been a truly enjoyable experience, combining modern design with excellent convenience. The development is located right next to Hove Station, making commuting effortless, while the vibrant cafés, shops, and the seafront are just a short walk away. This prime location allows residents to enjoy both the energy of Brighton and the calm of Hove’s coastal charm.
The apartments themselves are thoughtfully designed, with floor‑to‑ceiling windows, high‑quality finishes, and well‑planned layouts that make the spaces feel bright and welcoming. The inclusion of bespoke furniture packs, integrated appliances, and fast broadband means moving in is seamless and stress‑free.
One of the standout features is the range of shared amenities. The rooftop terraces offer stunning views of the sea, while the landscaped courtyards create a peaceful environment to relax. Residents also benefit from co‑working spaces, lounges, and a complimentary gym membership, which adds real value to everyday living. The on‑site management team is friendly and responsive, ensuring the building feels secure and well‑maintained.
Pet owners will appreciate the pet‑friendly policy and even a dedicated pet wash station, which shows how much thought has gone into making the community inclusive. Regular resident events and local discounts further enhance the sense of belonging.
Overall, Hove Gardens delivers a lifestyle that blends convenience, comfort, and community. Whether you’re a professional, student, or family, it offers a modern home with everything you need right on your doorstep. I would highly recommend it to anyone considering a move to Hove.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Its a lovely place to live. Helpful staff, also add like N helped me alot while i was staying there. Great experience
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management ensures smooth operation, safety, and comfort within a property. It involves maintenance of facilities, handling repairs, overseeing security, and coordinating with residents or tenants. Effective management also covers cleaning services, compliance with regulations, and proactive planning to maintain long‑term value and community satisfaction.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving was how quickly housing options fill up near Sussex University. Planning earlier would have saved stress and given more choices. I also underestimated the importance of checking public transport access and local amenities, which make daily life much easier.

Great Place to Live with Great team to support
I first lived in a studio apartment, and it felt more like a one-bedroom because it was so spacious and well designed. When my partner moved in, we moved to a one-bedroom apartment, which has also been a great space to live in.
One of the best things about living here is having the on-site management office and maintenance team. It is reassuring to know that if there are any issues, there is always someone available downstairs to help. The building management team is friendly, approachable and helpful, and they respond to queries professionally.Overall, I have had a very positive experience living here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a modern, well-managed place to live.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
This development is in an ideal location, as it is very close to Bristol city centre. I work at Bristol Royal Infirmary, which is only a few minutes' walk away, making my daily commute very convenient. There are also regular bus services nearby, although I rarely use my car now and am even considering taking it back to my parents because I simply don't need it.
The area has a good range of shops, supermarkets(Sainsburys), restaurants( City center), café(MOKOKO) and bars, all within walking distance. It is easy to access everything I need without travelling far.
When I first moved here two years ago, there were some homeless people in the area, but this has improved significantly and I no longer see them around. The neighbourhood feels safe and well maintained. My street is generally very quiet, and once I close my windows, I cannot hear any traffic noise. Bin collections are reliable with Bin chutes and Bin stores, and I have not experienced any issues with anti-social behaviour.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management team has always responded well whenever I have raised any issues. I really like that they now provide helpful videos, such as instructions on how to open the apartment windows, which makes it much easier for residents to find answers without needing to ask for help.
The reception team is always friendly and happy to assist with arranging maintenance works whenever needed. They also showed me how to clean the filter for the ventilation unit by vacuuming it and provided me with a replacement filter when it needed changing. I also had an issue with my thermostat, and the team was happy to help and arrange for it to be checked. Overall, I have found the management team to be responsive, knowledgeable and supportive.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in was that there is a weight limit for pets. It would have been helpful to have this information highlighted more clearly during the application process, as it could influence a resident's decision if they already have a larger dog. Apart from that, my moving-in experience was smooth and well organised.

The design is quite elegant
The design is quite elegant, many of our friends have commented on it saying it looks expensive. The facilities are a huge convenience. The coffee downstairs and the gym are one of the huge reasons we keep extending our lease. Management had been quite good with all the mingling events and free food and pop ups this year too!
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It’s quit convenient, it’s close to public transport, close to the shops and relatively safe. Have had a few bad incidents with males being over friendly, the restaurant outside has a very loud high pitched whistling sound every night which gives me a migraine but otherwise quite good.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We had a building wide electricity cut and they got the issue fixed quite quickly. The compensation was a little short for the inconvenience caused but they managed to cover a good portion.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
We wish we knew all these facilities existed we would’ve gotten a three year contract from the get go instead of a two year one!
