Description

Owners Comments…

When you get a call from your partner saying she has found her dream home, I just know it had to be something special!

Trying to find something that is surrounded by fields yet just minutes away from the M4 and good train connections is not easy and so The Barn became ours! That was 12 years ago and we have loved living here ever since. Our children have grown up now but walking the dogs as a family in the fields and lane was something we will always cherish.

The kitchen has always been the central hub of the home, with its original beams making it a really cosy place to get together with friends and family. When we pass through the electric gates, the hustle and bustle seems far away. This was always important to me having commuted regularly to London from the local station. So many happy memories have been made in our garden and bar over the years. For parties, pre proms, family events and more. Having so much land around The Barn means we have lots of options for parking.

We’ll be sad to leave such a fabulous home but now it’s time for another family to enjoy.
Dan & Neil Estate Agents’ comments…

This is a true one-of-a-kind barn conversion, beautifully created in 2013 and offering an epic home full of character, light and incredible design features.

From the moment you arrive, the setting makes an impression. With restricted farmland to the front, the property enjoys epic countryside views from almost every window, giving the home a wonderful sense of space and privacy.

Upstairs you’ll find three generous double bedrooms, all centred around an amazing vaulted landing that really captures the character of the barn. Oak features, a striking glass staircase and balustrade, and plenty of natural light make this a real statement space. There’s even a clever laundry cupboard tucked away to keep everything neat and practical. The main bedroom comes complete with its own en-suite, while the other bedrooms are equally spacious.

The layout downstairs works brilliantly for modern living. On one side of the home you have a big, comfortable lounge, the perfect spot to relax, while the other side opens up into an incredible open-plan kitchen, dining and family space. This area is truly the heart of the home, with loads of space to entertain and awesome views across the surrounding countryside.

There’s also another bedroom downstairs with a shower room next to this, giving you great flexibility for guests, a home office or multi-generational living.

Outside, the property continues to impress with a gated entrance, private parking, a car port, and an EV charging point, perfectly combining countryside charm with modern convenience.

Homes like this rarely come along, a stunning barn conversion, incredible views and a design that’s every bit as special as the setting.
