Description

Owners comments...

Brompton Close, we moved here in 1987 and in the early days the grandchildren played on the patio and in the garden. Five minuites walk away Maiden Place has two excellent restaurants. An Indian and a Chinese and a local Sainsbury store . The large garden is ideal for family parties and there have been a few over the years. Now is the time to move on and I will take many memories with me.

Dan & Neil Estate Agents’ comments…

There are homes that come to the market every year, and then there are homes like this.

The current owners have called Brompton Close home for nearly four decades, which tells you almost everything you need to know about the lifestyle on offer here. Tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac and occupying a plot that is becoming increasingly difficult to find, this is the sort of home families buy with the intention of staying for the long haul. What immediately stands out is the space around the property. The plot offers a wonderful sense of privacy and opportunity, whether that's simply enjoying the garden as it is, creating your dream entertaining space or exploring future extension possibilities subject to planning.

For us, this home isn't just about what it is today. It's about what it could become for the next family lucky enough to call it home. Opportunities like this rarely present themselves in Lower Earley, especially when a property has been cherished by the same family for 39 years.

If you're looking for a forever family home with space, potential and a fantastic location, Brompton Close deserves your attention.

Area Comments...

Lower Earley continues to be one of Reading's most popular family locations and it's easy to understand why.

Residents enjoy a fantastic balance of convenience and community, with excellent schools, local parks, sports facilities and everyday amenities all close by. The popular Asda complex, doctors surgeries, restaurants and leisure facilities are all within easy reach, making day-to-day life incredibly convenient.

For commuters, Reading town centre, Green Park and the M4 are easily accessible, whilst nearby train stations provide fast links into London.

The area is also known for its abundance of green spaces, walking routes and family-friendly atmosphere, making it a location where many residents put down roots for decades.

And perhaps that's the biggest endorsement of all. Homes on plots like this, in roads like Brompton Close, are often held onto for generations.
