Great place to live.
Wonderful building to live in. Apartment was brand new when I moved in. Modern and stylish. The building is also environmentally friendly. There is dedicated pushbikes space. The building is secure with key fob entry..You can walk down the canal and explore the scenery.

Good location, lots of restaurants, cafes and shops all within a short walking distance. Just 5 minutes walk to train and coach station.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management is excellent. They respond fast. I reported a jammed door lock and Christos responded promptly. The door lock was fixed quickly and professionally.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
No parking but not an issue with me, public transport like buses and trams very close by.

Beautiful British Waterways
The design of the apartments is what sealed the for me in the first place. Beautiful decor, furniture and ambience. Well thought out facilities and amenities down to the bed side light switch! Bernie and Will are a lovely and friendly duo, super helpful and efficient with their work and management!
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Lovely shops, pubs, and restaurants around and a convenient location to walk around, catch a bus, take the tram or even the train! My favourite blue bridge from the Justice center is the best way to get home! Loved the peace and quiet!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Never had a single problem throughout my stay! The construction is well done and the building is very new and well kept with consistent cleaning and maintenance.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Take advantage of the amenities and the lounge for your studies!

Love living here tbf
It’s a nice place however the kitchen is big compared to everything else which is kinda random. I also with there was more storage. However, Bernie, Will and Christos are so lovely and more than happy to help. The cleaning ladies also work really hard and are always working from early, they’re very friendly and keep everything neat. I love living here tbf, i also like the common area and all the events you put on even if i haven’t attended one. Alsooo it’s pet friendly which my hamster loves instead of being hidden in my old uni accom
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It’s really nice next to the canal, shops are local, busses and train are next door and you’re in the heart of town without being too central.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
yeah, christos was very polite and professional and fixed all of our issues in a timely manner
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
when i was first forced to live here and i really didn’t want to be because of the small ceilings and no storage but i really loved living here in the end

Excellent Living Experience with Outstanding Management Team
Living at British Waterways has been a genuinely great experience. The development is modern, well-designed, and maintained to a high standard, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. The facilities are excellent and consistently kept clean, which really adds to the overall quality of living here.
What truly stands out, however, is the building and property management team. Both Will and Bernadette have been exceptional throughout my time here. They are always friendly, approachable, and professional, and they go above and beyond to ensure residents feel supported. Any issues I’ve had have been dealt with quickly and efficiently, which makes a huge difference in day-to-day living.
Their communication is always clear and helpful, and they genuinely care about maintaining a positive community within the building. It’s rare to find such a dedicated and proactive team, and they are a big part of why British Waterways is such an excellent place to live. I would highly recommend this development to anyone considering moving here
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in the British Waterways area has been a really positive experience overall. The local area offers a great mix of shops, restaurants, and cafes, all within easy reach, making day-to-day life very convenient. There are also some lovely open spaces nearby which are perfect for relaxing or going for walks, especially along the canal which adds a nice, peaceful atmosphere.
Transport links are excellent, with reliable connections that make commuting and getting around Nottinghamshire straightforward. Whether it’s buses, trains, or nearby stations, everything is easily accessible. The street itself is generally quiet and well-maintained, with regular bin collections and no major issues with anti-social behaviour. Traffic noise is minimal most of the time, which makes it a comfortable place to live.
Overall, it’s a well-connected, convenient, and pleasant area that I’ve really enjoyed living in
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has always responded quickly and efficiently to any issues I’ve raised. Will and Bernadette are very approachable, helpful, and ensure problems are resolved promptly with clear communication throughout.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is just how supportive and responsive the building team is, especially Will and Bernadette. It’s something you don’t fully appreciate during a viewing, but it makes a big difference day to day. I’d also say to new neighbours to make the most of the local area and transport links, as everything is very convenient and adds to the overall living experience.
