5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I’ve really enjoyed living at Milliners Yard. The area has a good selection of shops, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and bars within walking distance, making day-to-day life very convenient. Transport links are excellent, with easy access to buses and the city centre. The street generally feels safe and well looked after, bin collections are reliable, and I haven’t experienced any major issues with noise or anti-social behaviour. Overall, it’s been a comfortable and convenient place to live, and I’d happily recommend it to others.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has always been responsive and helpful whenever I’ve raised any issues. Communication has been clear, and they have dealt with maintenance requests and general enquiries in a professional and timely manner. I’ve always felt that my concerns were taken seriously, and the team has been friendly and easy to contact.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is how active and welcoming the community is. The management team regularly organises events for residents, which makes it easy to meet neighbours and feel part of the community. I’d also recommend making full use of the rooftop terrace, as it’s a great place to relax and enjoy the views. The parcel collection service is another feature that’s been really convenient and has made receiving deliveries simple and stress-free.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I’ve only been back in Liverpool for about six months after living away for nearly 30 years, and I’d forgotten just how special the waterfront is. It’s become a huge part of my daily routine. I can head one way towards Otterspool or the other towards the new Hill Dickinson Stadium, with miles of uninterrupted riverside paths. Whether it’s a morning run, an evening walk or just sitting with a coffee watching the ships go by, the views across the Mersey to the Wirral are brilliant. I’ve seen it through winter, spring and now summer, and every season has something different to offer. Coming back has made me really proud of how far Liverpool has come, and living here has been a great way to reconnect with the city.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Overall, I’ve found the management team to be approachable and helpful. Whenever I’ve raised questions or minor issues, they’ve listened and done their best to help. Maddie, Sean and the wider team are a real credit to the building and make a genuine effort to look after residents. My only criticism is that some of the longer-term building issues, such as the reliability of the entry system and a few maintenance niggles, can take longer than I’d expect to resolve. Better follow-through on these would make an already good place even better.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The North building has the reception area. The parcel companies are lazy and deliver parcels to the North building. Seagulls are noisy in mating season! 🙄

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area has a great range of shops, supermarkets, cafés, restaurants and bars. All within easy walking distance and town centre being only a 5 minute walk away. The public transport links are excellent with convenient bus routes and Lime Street Station being a walk-away. The street itself always felt safe, clean and well maintained and very little anti-social behaviour or excessive traffic noise. Parking can be limited at busier times, but overall it's a fantastic area to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any issues or queries raised were always dealt with promptly and professionally by the building management team. They were approachable, easy to contact and kept me updated throughout. Making the whole process straightforward. It's clear they genuinely care about both the building and the residents, which made living there a very positive experience.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I'd known just how much of a community the building has. The regular resident events are a great way to meet people and make friends, so I'd definitely recommend getting involved from the start. I'd also suggest joining the residents' communication channels early on to keep up to date with events and important building updates.

It has been very swift such as small maintance issues and the building management itself.

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is really lovely and feels very safe. Great selection of cafes in the area and access to public transport too! Love living so close to the city and to peel park.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, if we ever need help we get a response pretty quickly. Same with any issues with the flat itself like repairs or issues.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The noise when having the window open can be a bit much sometimes, but that does come with the location being by a main road and the train tracks too!
