Best place I’ve chosen to rent
When I first saw the home I thought wow , what a spacious place, even for a one bed the bedrooms are big , the living space is big and so is the bathroom. It’s all really spacious and feels like a two bed . The best part is that it’s reasonably priced .
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There is a range of shops , restaurants and bars in Stevenage . Not to mention we have a Tesco right around the corner . I was stunned at how I could go for dessert or even dinner or just go to the cinema if I wanted and all within a reasonable walking distances .
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes they have , usually within a couple days maintenance will come and sort out any issues
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
They were prettt transparent about the parking situation to be fair . So with one beds you don’t get a. Parking space but with the two beds you get one parking space and that comes with a charge of £125 per month which is pretty steep .

Maintenance is brilliant they sort it very quickly
Sometimes have to wait for a response from the team on some things but if you chase they sort it out
Great location
Facilities sound like they will be great but aren’t all done yet eg gym and parcel room

Very good location old town just opposite and also very convenient when using the train station and going to town

Yes some of my lights went in my en suite and he replaced the bulb for me asap

It can get warm in here so putting heating on not always needed

Modern, clean, and well finished
Really happy with the flat so far. It’s modern, clean and well finished throughout. The bathroom is honestly one of my favourite parts, feels very luxury. The big wardrobe with the tinted mirrors is a nice touch too, gives the bedroom a bit of character also the fact that the flat is already furnished is amazing and saves needing extra furniture. Layout works well, plenty of natural light and everything feels new. Building itself seems well looked after and the move in process was quick and straightforward. No complaints so far, exactly what I was looking for.

Perfect spot, next to a big tescos, train station, the old town. It’s an ideal location as everything I need is within walking distance. The sound proof is great too, can’t even hear the trains
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Only just moved in so haven’t needed to raise anything yet, but the move in process itself was smooth and communication has been amazing so far.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Honestly nothing major. The location is even better than I expected, everything you need is on your doorstep. Worth knowing the soundproofing is genuinely good though, you’d think being this close to the train station would be an issue but you can’t hear a thing from inside.

Well-designed apartments with professional management
The Lytton is a well-designed, modern building that feels noticeably higher quality than many older town-centre blocks. The apartments are finished to a good standard, with a clean, contemporary layout and decent natural light. Shared facilities such as communal areas are well thought out and maintained, adding to the overall appeal. Building management and property management are generally responsive and professional, with issues handled promptly and efficiently. Overall, I think it feels like a professionally run development with long-term residents in mind rather than a short-term let. I am pleased with everything.

Very convenient location near Stevenage station with excellent transport links and easy access to shops, cafés and the town centre. The Old Town nearby offers better pubs and restaurants, and there are good green spaces within walking distance. Bin collections are reliable. Overall, practical and well suited for commuters and those who want the good life 😊

Yes, they have. They are prompt in responding to issues or concerns raised.

Train noise are noticeable especially on lower floors and when your apartment is facing the train line. But overall, it is a great place to live in.

Modern, Well-Maintained Living Spaces Excellent Location for Commuters
The building is well maintained, clean, and very pleasant to live in. The flats have a modern feel, with high-quality features such as a fully integrated kitchen and individual underfloor heating in each room, which makes the space comfortable all year round. The building management team are friendly, professional, and always happy to help, which really adds to the overall living experience.

It is conveniently located close to local amenities and is only a 5–10 minute walk from the train station, making it ideal for those who commute out of Stevenage. The location offers both convenience and easy access to transport, while still being close to shops and everyday essentials.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any issues that have arisen have been dealt with promptly and efficiently once raised. The management team are responsive and proactive, keeping residents informed and making sure problems are resolved as quickly as possible, which provides real peace of mind.

Everything was clearly explained prior to moving into the building, which made the process smooth and stress-free. All information was communicated in a clear and transparent way, so there were no surprises and it was easy to feel settled from the very beginning.
