The properties are built to a very nice standard
The properties are built to a very nice standard.
All the appliances are good quality.
They are nicely decorated, the sanitary ware and bathrooms/ cloakrooms are of good quality.
The kitchens are of good quality
Ryan, the development manager for Leaf, is extremely helpful, always available to assist and extremely polite. Extremely happy and grateful for all his help.

I only moved in 2 days ago so I have not had time to properly look into things.
However, the parking is fantastic and have had no traffic noise
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Have not had any to date except a minor problem with the front door which Ryan sorted within 30 minutes

Happy with everything to date. Would be very helpful to know bin and recycling collection dates as they weren’t available on Wealden District Council website

Perfect family home
Design is really modern and clean, brickwork is fantastic and grounds work is good, property is perfect size for family with lots of room, only down side is not alot of storage spaces but property is really open and a good blank canvas...............

An Unfinished Construction Site with Awful Management
The development is completely unfinished—you are essentially living in the middle of an active construction site with all the noise and disruption that comes with it. Property management and aftercare are absolutely awful and borderline incompetent. I was handed the keys to a unit that is uninhabitable, suffering from a massive active leak under the kitchen sink that is already rotting the woodwork. The dishwasher is broken, fixtures are missing, and the garden gate won't even close. On top of that, the mains water pressure is barely the legal minimum, meaning you can't even take a proper shower. When I reported these emergencies on move-in day, management completely ignored me. I deeply regret signing this lease and feel completely trapped. Do not rent here.

There are virtually no shops or amenities around, making it very inconvenient for daily living. Furthermore, the local traffic situation is a nightmare. There is so much continuous traffic on the main road that trying to turn right coming out of the development is incredibly difficult and frustrating. You are completely isolated without the infrastructure to support it.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Management has been shockingly incompetent. I reported a massive leak under the sink and terrible water pressure to their emergency team on move-in day, and they did absolutely nothing. The aftercare team then emailed me a patronising tutorial on how to repressurise a boiler, completely misunderstanding that the mains water pressure is what is actually failing. They even had my address wrong in their own system so I couldn't report issues properly on the app.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known to physically test the taps for water pressure before signing the lease, as it is currently unusable. I also wish I knew that a viewing booked 8 days in advance would consist of an agent leaving a door open for 30 seconds while they sit in a meeting.

Love our house
The house is lovely , we like living in a more modern house, with more modern fixings and decor. Having parking is great too. Management team have been great, always on the ball and really helpful with the few issues we have had. Everyone on the site are really friendly.

Now we can make new memories
We moved in a week ago, the day of moving went smoothly and we do love our house, the fact its brand new, clean.
We have had a few teething problems only to be expected and the management team have been really helpful and quick to get things sorted for us, keeping us up to date with progress etc.
Ryan was fantastic in getting us in as quick as possible as we received a section 21 in our last property, it was all very stressful but he made it all go really smooth and we were in within 3 weeks of viewing.
Sophie has been great with dealing with a few of our problems and getting them sorted.

We love the area, we have lived in the area for 8 years already. We have everything we need on the door step, my son goes to the local school.

They have been quick to sort the issues, getting companies out to get things sorted for us.
