Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lovely quiet location, even though it's on one of the main roads into Bath city centre. The development is within walking distance of the station and shopping area, but there are also regular buses into the centre and on to Bath's two universities. Secure parking places can be rented for an additional cost.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

These were usually resolved quickly, although we did have an ongoing minor issue with a heated towel rail!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Everything went pretty smoothly for us and I'd recommend Spring Wharf to anyone looking for a base in Bath.

Good location, shops walking distance Good transport links. Parking available. Next to a gym. Green space nearby too.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Emailed and communicated with residents. Noise of local fire station was dealt with.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Scaffolding on the mill being on for so long and that there would be such a long period of building work and noise

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location of spring wharf is perfect. For me, I am close to family and a short walk away from the train and town- it ticks every box!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quickly and professionally. They are always very polite

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It would have been good to know that the previous WiFi service wasn’t disconnected by the last tenant which caused problems for days after I moved in. Knowing a bit more about guest parking would have also been useful! I really would have liked the co working space, it’s a shame it’s not available

    Manager's response

Hi Hannah, Thank you for your lovely feedback - it’s great to hear that your move-in felt smooth and that the team made such a positive difference. We’ll also share your comments with them! We appreciate your notes around sound transfer and the co-working space, as well as the feedback on WiFi and guest parking at move-in. We’re glad you’re enjoying life at Spring Wharf.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very convenient! It is close to Lidl. There are many buses to go to the city centre and both U of Bath and Bath Spa U. A lot of undergrads live on the other side of Lower Bristol Road (can be good or bad).

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes!!! They responded to my requests very quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew the council tax band (but I should've asked).

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local amenities great .. as is public transport Parking very expensive and limited ,Bath Council is anti car ..There are times of Anti social behaviour, with music events running late next door and Noise from fire station next door ..

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes .. it took neatly 2 weeks.. but said they had changed their mind on rent increases and compensation

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish it was more sound proof ..I can hear people in their bathroom above me .. Less students .. Built to a standard it was meant to be .. Maintenance is poor

    Manager's response

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. As you’re aware, the scaffolding is in place for health and safety reasons while essential works are carried out to the building. We understand it can be disruptive, but it is required to ensure the ongoing safety and maintenance of the property. Following the recent residents’ meeting, I also explained the rationale behind the rent increase proposal. As an agreed action from that meeting, this will be raised again with the landlord for further review and consideration. I was also surprised to see your comments regarding maintenance response times. If you’re still experiencing any ongoing issues or feel something hasn’t been properly addressed, please do pop into the office so we can go through everything in detail and make sure nothing has been missed. Thanks again for your comments.
