A Cardiff city complex of the future
The development came my way after a visit to the alternative place in Bristol managed by the same company.
This option has the latest facilities on offer and the studio is a good enough size for what l need at the moment.
The site is adjacent to the capitals entertainment, hospitality and retail centre.
Also its adjacent to the main train and bus stations.
It sits at the top of central quay in Cardiff Bay.
Beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and you can see the hills and valleys beyond the city.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The seagulls get up earlier than l do!
Otherwise so far so good.
The local neighbourhood is well developed and further things happening in the near future.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes on request and an immediate response.
The team is working well together with the customer service being their primary focus.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Nothing really. From my final visit to moving in the whole process took a matter of days not weeks!

Great building with apartments that could be better
Facilities are amazing. The gym is very spacious and common areas are really varied. The exterior design is very eye catching. The windows allow for amazing views. Unfortunately the furniture is not up to standard. There no chests of drawers in a two bedroom apartment. It would be better defined as partially furnished.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Local area is very well connected to the rest of london via stratford station. There are lots of stores and bars.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The management has been responsive. However it is taking quite a bit of time to get things fixed.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
We did not realize that the kitchen storage was so limited. We also did not notice lack of drawers both in the bedroom and in the kitchen.

New apartment in Rondo Development
Rondo is a brand-new development in Stratford. The amenities and overall design have clearly been well thought out. There is a well-equipped gym, a bookable cinema, and various spaces dedicated to working or hosting parties. There are also multiple terraces for residents to enjoy.
The apartments themselves are spacious, although there is very little storage space compared with several other new developments in the area. Most of the flats come fully furnished, but I wouldn’t really describe them as such because only the essentials are provided. For example, there was no desk or chest of drawers, and the built-in wardrobes have no shelves, so you can only hang your clothes.
The blinds also don’t seem particularly practical—it would have made much more sense to have curtains, especially in the bedrooms. The kitchen cupboards and bathroom flooring have a very delicate finish that shows every speck of dirt, even the smallest marks. It feels like aesthetics were prioritised over practicality.
That said, the rent is competitively priced, and with a few additional pieces of furniture, you can easily make the apartment feel complete. The open-plan living room and kitchen are very spacious, and the large windows make the apartments feel bright and airy.
As this is a brand-new development, there were a few initial issues with the apartment. However, once we reported them, the responses were quick, professional, and helpful.
Finally, the reception team has been consistently friendly, welcoming, and very helpful, which has made the overall experience much more positive.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Stratford (specifically the East Village area), in my opinion, is an extremely attractive place to live. It has excellent transport connections to various parts of the city as well as the airports. Having Westfield on your doorstep, along with a wide range of restaurants, also makes it incredibly convenient
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The responses were quick and they did their best to help.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Everything was explained during the viewing and our additional questions were answered in a follow up. There was a bit of an issue with references proces and I wish they raise it with us earlier as it was very stressful to do it last minute.

Great Staff but Limited Amenities
Beautiful building with great staff. However, in the short time we have lived here the lobby was closed for a month for repairs, meaning access to the mail room and private dining room was also closed off; the roof terraces and courtyard have been closed for weeks during the height of summer; machines in the gym have been broken for weeks at a time; and the access door from the lobby to the TV room was jammed for at least 6 months. Considering a big part of the selling point of the flats is the amenities the building offers, it's extremely disappointing there is usually some issue or another preventing full access to amenities.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Great selection of restaurants, bars & shops in a mostly beautiful neighbourhood. We were told before moving in that the derelict lot behind the building would become a park but no progress has been made so far. This means the back alley of the building can feel sketchy at times. Transport links are great with a bus stop right outside the front door and train less than 5 minutes walk away.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Maintenance issues are always dealt with promptly and professionally.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That the courtyard and rooftop terraces would be closed through the height of summer awaiting a health and safety review.

I really like the interior , the common area is really helpful.
Love the ambience there.
Especially during the exam time.

Immediately whenever I was in need of assistance, almost like a email away.
