Description
I bought this as my first home in 2014, and have loved living here. We're selling because we now have a baby and need more space. We are staying in Archway, moving five minutes down the road.
The flat has recently been redecorated and has a newly fitted bathroom. The living space is south-facing, bright and easy to rearrange for day-to-day living or having people over. The bedroom gets evening sun, and there are generous built-in cupboards throughout. There are also a few nice architectural details.
The private terrace is great, and BBQs are allowed. The flat has its own front door, good privacy, plenty of sky, and a view of the City.
Archway tube is a one-minute walk away, with fast connections into central London. Oxford Circus can be reached quickly via Euston and the Victoria line - 18 minutes is my record.
There are four supermarkets nearby - Aldi, Co-op, Sainsbury's and M&S - plus a post office, print shop, Whittington Hospital, independent cafés, restaurants and pubs, including The Spoke, Bread and Bean, Crudough, Hot Wok Kitchen, The Flask, and St John's Tavern.
Hampstead Heath, Swain's Lane, Highgate Cemetery, and Waterlow Park are all close by. Waterlow Park has been one of our favourite things about living here.
The neighbours are lovely; many have become close friends.
