Leighton Buzzard and Aylesbury both offer mainline train stations, serving London Euston and Marylebone respectively.

Local schooling is excellent; Overstone Combined and Cottesloe School are both located in the village itself, while three renowned grammar schools are to be found in Aylesbury.
