Very happy tenant
Facilities management have been very helpful with any issues I’ve raised being dealt with promptly and efficiently. All staff at PF are very helpful and nice to talk to. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family as they’re always so supportive
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I absolutely love living at St Luke’s. It’s such a beautiful place and very clean and tidy. All neighbours are lovely and respectful. No negatives living here :)
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management dealt with an issue I had very quickly. Issue was resolved and clear communication of timelines.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Only slight issue living here is the mobile reception in the area. I know this has been raised by the local councillor but is a pain when anyone new comes to the estate or you have a delivery.

New build but homely
The development is a typical new build development and it’s pretty big. It’s popular with families but also young professionals. There is still some building noise around but it’s generally not intrusive. The property management company couldn’t be better. Placefirst respond to queries quickly, with great customer service. Every problem or concern we have had has been dealt with quickly and easily, and they always use WhatsApp for contractors which helps with the phone signal issue! There’s not a shop on the development yet, but it’s not too far. There is a school and a new secondary school being built.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living at Whiteley Meadows is great. There are good transport links and the Whiteley shopping centre a short distance away. In the other direction, there’s the little village of Botley and countryside beyond. You’re not far from the sea, or the bigger cities. Parking is decent, usually there are visitor spaces available, and it always feels safe here. The only downside is known well locally - whiteley phone signal is awful!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, every issue has been promptly resolved and done in a good timescale.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The gardens aren’t great - stick to pot plants and don’t waste your money on trying to fix the grass.

Nice area when finished
The house is lovely. The development well built. Just wish the green spaces we kept tidy and roads adopted.
The roads are only 90% complete.
Grass should have been laid better as now mostly dead.
When work is being completed by the developers it would be nice to be kept updated.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Tattenhoe park is quiet with great areas to take long walks and have the country feel but close to all the shops and city life.
Unfortunately the prospect of the new recycling centre is a major turn off.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Not logged any since transfer so no issues found a present
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Was told it’s a community. Not 1 activity in the area.
No community. Such a shame

Modern Development with a Community Feel.
Love the development, it has a real community feel to the area, with a real variety of people living here, from families to young professionals. The property management have been fantastic when any issues have come up they have been resolved quickly. If there was anything I'd change, probably an outside tap would be welcome, some more electrical sockets on the ground floor, and some form of networking in the properties.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Fantastic Location, with Crossgates just 10 minutes walk away, the Springs / Thorpe Park close by. Have a great Social Club close by too for a quiet drink. The area is quiet, very rarely hear much noise on a night, and it is only getting better as the construction phase comes to an end. Bin collections were a nightmare when I first moved in as I was the first person on the development for a few months, but now everything is like clockwork.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, any issues I have raised have been resolved very quickly such as some Hemlock growing on the communal areas.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I knew how challenging it is to live on a new development, in terms of initially getting bins collected, and also arranging deliveries to a street that doesnt appear on many maps.

Placefirst - Review
Overall, the property is very well built. It’s quite a plain canvas which I enjoy because it means I could decorate the way I wanted. The property management team have been helpful when I have contacted them. I would recommend PlaceFirst as a good place to live.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location is excellent. There are many local shops, restaurants and bars in the local town which is walkable distance. As the property is still being developed the roads aren’t fully complete yet but the builders do take care and ensure to clean and keep the road clear.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, I had an issue with my heating when I first moved into the property and they came and sorted it out for me.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Overall I don’t think there is anything further I wanted to know before I moved into the property. From viewing to getting into the property is was very seamless.
