Description
A private driveway leads to the front door and entrance hall, where stairs rise to the first floor and a cloakroom is conveniently positioned for guests. The layout flows naturally through the ground floor, providing an excellent balance of reception space and practical family living.
The spacious sitting room is centered around an attractive feature fireplace (with gas coal effect fire), and opens directly into the conservatory, creating a wonderful additional reception area overlooking, and twith direct access onto, the rear garden. Whether relaxing with family or entertaining friends, this is a welcoming and versatile living space.
The kitchen/dining room is well planned with an extensive range of contemporary cabinets, generous worktop space and ample room for everyday dining. A large picture window provides lovely views across the rear garden, whilst the adjoining utility room offers additional storage and space for appliances. Adjoining this is internal access to the integral garage, which offers scope to convert to additional reception space if desired subject to the usual costraints.
A further reception room on the ground floor provides excellent flexibility and could equally serve as a home office, guest/third bedroom, perfectly suited to modern lifestyles.
The first floor offers two particularly generous double bedrooms, both benefiting from fitted wardrobes, eaves storage, pleasant outlooks across the surrounding gardens and good sized en suite bathrooms., with a nice sized landing linking them.
Whilst well maintained throughout, the property now offers purchasers an exciting opportunity to update and personalise to their own taste, enhancing what is already a substantial and well-positioned detached home.
Outside, the mature rear garden has the potential to become one of Gower Cottage's greatest attractions. Beautifully enclosed by established trees and shrubs, it enjoys an excellent degree of privacy with a generous lawn. Rediscovering colourful planting and space for outdoor entertaining will be a joy. The front garden is equally attractive, with a private driveway providing off-road parking and access to the integral garage.
