LOCATION
Churchfields is a quiet residential area, situated in an elevated position, with superb views over the town down to the River Dart. It is within walking distance of several nearby amenities, including the Leisure Centre, supermarkets, Health Centre and schooling, and is about half a mile / 20 minute (Google Maps) walk into the town centre. Dartmouth is a beautiful waterside town and is celebrated for its rich maritime heritage, being home to the Britannia Royal Naval College.

The town is one of the jewels in Devon’s crown, offering outstanding natural beauty, and a vibrant year-round community. The town centre, offers a wonderful and varied selection of shops, boutiques, galleries, pubs and restaurants, including The Seahorse, which was recently named as ‘Best restaurant outside of London’ by the Food and Travel Reader Awards 2025. Dartmouth hosts several yearly festivals, including the Dartmouth Royal Regatta, Food Festival, Music Festival and Galleries Week. Alongside the traditional bakers, butcher and grocer, there are two supermarkets and an M&S Food Hall. The town is well serviced with a new health and well-being centre, a cinema, a leisure centre and both indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The River Dart, which flows from Dartmoor, through Totnes and out to sea at Dartmouth, is always a hive of activity, and as a deep-water port, attracts boats from all over the world.

Dartmouth lies within the South Hams and the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, an area famous for its stunning coastline with sandy beaches and hidden coves. The mainline train station at Totnes (12 miles) runs a regular service to London in just over 2.5 hours and the A38 (M5) is about 19 miles.

ACCOMMODATION
Beautifully refurbished throughout, 18 Churchfields is an exceptional home, distinguished by its design and colourful interior design, blending contemporary style with warmth and character. It offers lateral living at its best, with spacious, bright accommodation, and superb views of the River Dart across the valley. A welcoming entrance hall leads to a well-appointed kitchen, featuring an extensive range of quality units, a fiveburner gas hob, two built-in ovens, microwave, integrated dishwasher and fridge / freezer.

The kitchen is open plan to the dining room, where sliding doors open onto the rear terrace and delightful gardens beyond, creating an ideal space for both everyday living and entertaining.

The dual-aspect living room is bathed in natural light from windows on two elevations and enjoys breathtaking views down to the River Dart. In addition, there is a small snug,
currently used as a music room, but would make an ideal study.

The principal bedroom benefits from a walk-in dressing room and a stylish en-suite shower room. Two further generous double bedrooms are served by a beautifully appointed family bathroom.

A particular feature of the property is the bespoke Shepherd’s Hut, situated within the rear garden. Beautifully presented, it provides a fourth bedroom with an en-suite shower room/ cloakroom and a compact kitchenette. A sheltered dining terrace is situated off the kitchen, and the upper terrace is home to a hot tub, providing an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the evening sun.
