DO NOT RENT HERE!
We moved in October 2025. Despite the building looking nice, our experience has been extremely disappointing.
A persistent wind noise issue from the bedroom window was reported within days of moving in. Months later, after multiple surveyor visits, it remains unresolved and still disrupts our sleep and work from home.
Getting anything fixed requires constantly chasing, responses take weeks and follow-ups are ignored until we escalate. There are also ongoing issues with the boiler and doors not closing properly.
Security is a major concern. Doors don’t close properly, allowing free access. We’ve had multiple parcels stolen from the building, there’s effectively no security at all. People walk in and out as they please.
The design is poorly thought out: zero bathroom storage and no cooling system, making the flat unbearably hot in summer with no way to regulate temperature.
There’s also a persistent cannabis smell throughout corridors and outside areas.
For the rent charged, the standard of maintenance, communication, security, and property management has been consistently poor. Not recommended.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location is convenient if you commute. Slough station is within walking distance with excellent Elizabeth Line and Great Western Railway connections to London, Reading and Heathrow. There are plenty of supermarkets, gyms, cafés and restaurants nearby, making day-to-day living convenient.
Unfortunately, the area can feel busy, particularly around the town centre, and we have experienced issues with building security, including communal doors not closing properly and parcels going missing. While the transport links are a major advantage, our overall experience has been overshadowed by the ongoing maintenance issues within the development itself.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Poorly. Although contractors have attended several times, there has been no permanent resolution after many months. We have had to repeatedly chase for updates, often waiting weeks between responses. The ongoing wind noise has severely affected our sleep, health and ability to work from home, yet communication has been inconsistent and there has been little proactive management of the issue.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The noise issue has been known to the landlord, therefore I wish we had known about the ongoing wind noise issue affecting some apartments. We were not aware of this before moving in, and it has had a significant impact on our quality of life. I also wish we had known how long repairs could take and that resolving maintenance issues may require repeated chasing. I’d also have liked to know about the occasional problems with communal door security and parcel theft before signing the tenancy.

Aspire 55 the new hotspot in Slough
The design of the property is great and the build quality is also very good. The apartment layouts and interior designs are to a high standard compared to other apartments in the area. The facilities are limited to just a roof top space which is shared by the tenants. I wish there was a gym inside the building included to use for the residents. The building’s management so far has been great we have not had any issues but having a concierge and security service is nice.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Excellent range of transport options , shops and super markets for shopping. Traffic noise is not too bad on the higher levels. I have not seen any antisocial behaviour yet in the area around the property. Parking outside the building could be better. As parking fees are not always the cheapest. But for us without a car public transport is perfect.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
So far we have had no issues to report where the building management has been required.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The only thing I noticed what that for water metre readings you need to ask the reception to get the key to open the door in the corridor to take your readings. Nothing else to note now.

Amazing development and staff
The development is well built with very high quality finishes which is one thing that has really stood out to us since moving, the security systems are also great and provide us good safety all round which is a plus. The management team are very friendly and knowledgeable they always respond in a timely manner.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There are amazing links nearby with the train systems and bus systems, the bin collections and great too and the restaurants and general stores around are very convenient.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The management has been very fast especially with things like WiFi, water and electric issues.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I knew how good the boiler system is as this is something that is such a high quality.
