Well-managed apartment in a superb location
The facilities are pretty basic, although the off-road parking is definitely a plus. There is no bike storage. The property management is very responsive and professional. The apartment isn't very big but has enough room for a small family. It is a peaceful place to stay in.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Well-connected to the city centre, Uni of Sheffield and West St. There is off-road parking available and a secure bin. It isn't very loud and there isn't much traffic on gell st. Springfield Primary school and gell st. park is nearby.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They have been responsive, though the time taken to deal with an issue depends upon the nature of the issue.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There can be some rough sleepers around the area; hence, lock your car properly at night.

Conveniently located and well-managed apartment
The building management is quite prompt at handling issues, although sometimes it does take longer. This is more to do with the contractor and not the building management. The apartments are perfect for a small family, the second room is quite small. There is a lot of natural lighting and ventilation in the top floor.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The property is very close to West Street and Division Street and is in a very lively location. Springfield School and Gell Street Park are right behind the property. The University of Sheffield is just up the road.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
When the fridge broke down and the ceiling had a wet patch, they tended to it relatively promptly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The heat retention in the apartment is quite poor.

Great place to live in the city centre
The building is great, clean and well-kept. The design of the flats are also spacious and rooms are a good size. The place is also pet-friendly which is great. The flats could be a bit better in terms of fixtures and facilities such as taps, water pressure and heating, but overall a great place and living experience. The property management are also on top of things and quick to respond.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in the area is amazing for close accessibility to shops, restaurants and public transport. There are also dedicated parking spaces if you drive. The area also doesn’t get much noise from west street and is fairly quiet.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management seems nice and friendly, quick to respond and the building is well-managed.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There is a pub nearby which can get quite noisy but the place doesn’t get any noise from west street. The area overall is nice and quiet.

Modern amenities, urban location and sophisticated style.
The development overall is suited for everyone and in particular for couples or families due to its location. Our property manager Mohamed is really good and always ready to answer queries and help. Property management is online and the interface is good for logging complaints, tracking the work done etc. Thumbs up for the good work.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The residential area is close to everything that you can think of making it ideally located. City center with a range of pubs, bars, restaurants ,University and the hospital are within walking distance. Tram and bus stops are less than a minute away.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, it's all through online portal where you can log in issues and they get sorted

Vibrant and Friendly Community in the Heart of Sheffield
Living on Gell Street has been a generally positive experience, especially when it comes to building management. The management team is responsive and quick to address issues like repairs or maintenance requests, which makes day-to-day living much easier. You can usually expect a resolution within a reasonable timeframe.
That said, the building itself is starting to show its age. While it has plenty of character, some areas could use modernisation, like updating fixtures, improving insulation, or enhancing communal spaces. These improvements would really elevate the property and make it feel more in line with the vibrant area it’s located in.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living on Gell Street is great if you love being in the heart of the city. The location is ideal—I can walk to shops, restaurants, and bars in minutes. There’s always something happening nearby, whether it’s grabbing a coffee, meeting friends for food, or just enjoying Devonshire Green. That little park is a lifesaver when you need some fresh air or a quiet spot.
Transport is super convenient, with buses and trams close by, but I barely need them because everything’s so central.
The street itself is a mix of old and new. The buildings have loads of character, which I love, but the area can get noisy at times, especially at night when the bars nearby are busy. It’s part of the charm of living in a lively area, but it might not be for everyone.
Bin collections are pretty reliable, and the council does a decent job keeping the area tidy. Occasionally, you’ll spot a bit of litter or hear some late-night commotion, but I’ve never felt unsafe here.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Whenever there’s been a problem, whether it’s a maintenance issue or a request for repairs, the management team has been quick to acknowledge it and often resolves the issue within a reasonable time frame.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
