A well designed and looked after apartment, great staff and really good/convenient location. Close to the train station. Prompt repair when i needed it

Any issues were dealt with before we even knew about it eg- faulty front door

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The electrical vents make the house feel extremely cold in the winter.

So i only have good aspects to discuss first of all the location is perfect to go for bolton mall, catching up the buses in front of the apartment, apartment has good security and manager available 5 days a week in case any queries need to be addressed.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They usually respond the same day and address all the concerns in given time.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The streets are quiet, with being in the town Center you are close to all the shops, supermarkets, restaurants and cinema, all within walking distance. Bin collection is hassle free. The only downside is parking, with not enough spaces and having to pay at NCP every month but I believe that’s more of a council allocation issue and not PlaceFirst. Overall still happy with everything.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Johnny helped with any issues within minutes. Great guy to chat to.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Fortunately my partner covered all the research from the start so nothing was a shock.

    Manager's response

Thank you for your kind review, Sanika. We're really pleased to hear that your move-in experience was smooth and straightforward, and that Johnny was able to support you every step of the way. We'll be sure to pass on your lovely feedback to him. Thanks again for your recommendation and for taking the time to share your experience. 😊

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I’m very happy that I’m close to all amenities. Everything is within walking distance. I’ve never spent as much time in the town. Just wish there was parking for visitors as in the winter i dnt think many people would feel safe walking to the carparks. Everyone is very friendly

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

All problems are dealt with swiftly and keep me upto date on the progress

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

You wouldn’t regret living here as it’s a respectable friendly complex and secure

    Manager's response

Thank you for your lovely review, Shelley. We're so pleased to hear that you're enjoying your home at Deansgate Gardens and that you've found it comfortable and secure. A fully furnished home, friendly management team and town-centre location have clearly made such a positive impression. We also appreciate your feedback about visitor parking. Sadly limited parking is one of the limitations of a town centre neighbourhood. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I’ve been living in this development since January 2026, and so far I’ve found it a really nice place to live! Being in the middle of town is so convenient and there’s always something going on. Any (rare) maintenance issues are always fixed same or the next day. I find it to be energy efficient and a lovely space. The interior is designed well and has a lovely modern yet homely feel. The only negative feelings I have are the parking. As it’s very expensive (£100 monthly) and roughly a 5 minute walk up/down a hill from the actual flat building. And the price of rent (£1025 monthly for a 1 bedroom flat, this includes parking).

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There have been very few issues I have had to raise since living here, but they have both been fixed same day, within a couple hours.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew the area better. The pro is that you’re living in a town centre.. and the con is that you’re living in a town centre. Things outside can get quite rowdy, and police are often called to the area.
