Seller Insights

"We've really loved living here over the past few years. As a relatively new home, it has a modern feel throughout. One of our favourite spots is the open-plan living and dining space. It's a large, light space with views over the garden, and in the warmer months we have the bi-fold doors open so you can walk straight out onto the terrace.
There's much more storage than you might expect in a modern home. Upstairs, there are two large storage areas in the eaves, which are ideal for Christmas decorations, suitcases and all the children's bits and pieces.

We’ve added a few improvements to the garden, including the patio. We spend a lot of time there relaxing or having friends and family over for a barbecue. The garden gets the sun well into the evening during the summer. We've also planted trees and created raised beds, but there's still plenty of opportunity for someone to put their own stamp on it if they wanted to.

Navenby has been a brilliant place to bring up our family. The village has everything you need day to day, including a primary school, three pubs, a bakery, butcher, Co-op and several takeaways, and most of it is within walking distance. There are also several play parks, a great community centre and large playing fields that are perfect for the children or for walking the dog. The village always has something going on too, from summer fetes to Christmas events, so there's a real community feel.

It’s a very friendly village. We've been lucky with our neighbours and people genuinely look out for each other. One of our neighbours has recently started her own bakery business and often brings freshly baked treats round for the children, which sums up the sort of place it is.

The countryside around here is beautiful and we've spent lots of weekends exploring it. The Viking Way runs through the village. It's perfect for family walks, and there are some wonderful views across the surrounding countryside.

We often take the children to Belton House, which they absolutely love because of the adventure playground and miniature railway, and Lincoln is only about 20 minutes away if you fancy a day shopping, eating out or visiting the cathedral. Woodhall Spa is another great place to visit, with its independent shops, cafés and leisure amenities. There are lots of interesting places to explore, without having to travel very far."
