Description

Seller's View

Having lived in this house since the age of 7 years old, it was originally a bungalow, my parents converted it to a chalet bungalow and then I transformed it into the house it is now. The home has a lot of natural light and is very spacious, it is ideal to accommodate a large gathering of friends and family for any occasion as I have had many gatherings/parties. for many reasons over the years. The loft is fully boarded and insulated with scope to turn into extra rooms, with storage running around the whole loft. It also has ample parking for several cars.
The High Street has lots to offer including a chemist, cafes, salons, two supermarkets and a doctors surgery. Crowthorne also offers fantastic Pre-schools,infant and secondary schools all within walking distance (Wellington Prep school and Wellington College).
Crowthorne Train Station has a direct line to Gatwick Airport. Crowthorne also has easy access to Bracknell that has a main line into London.

It is a fantastic home with a lot of wonderful memories having been raised here myself and raised my own two boys, who have now flown the nest.
It is now time for me to start a new journey and for a new family to make some new memories in a cherished family home.

Chris' Comments

What I love most about this home is how much flexibility it offers for modern family life. With four genuine double bedrooms, four reception rooms and a fantastic open plan kitchen/diner, there's space for everyone to enjoy their own corner while still coming together as a family.

The location is another real standout. Being just a short walk from Crowthorne High Street means everything is on your doorstep, from your morning coffee to everyday essentials, while Edgbarrow School is close enough to leave the car at home during the school run.

The large rear garden is a fantastic bonus too. Whether it's summer barbecues with friends, children playing outside or simply enjoying a quiet evening, it's a space that will be appreciated all year round.

Properties that combine this amount of living space with such a central village location are always in high demand, and I think the next owners will love the lifestyle this home has to offer just as much as the property itself.

Area View

Positioned in the heart of Crowthorne, this impressive family home enjoys one of the village's most convenient locations, just a short stroll from the bustling High Street. Renowned for its welcoming community atmosphere, Crowthorne offers an excellent selection of independent cafés, restaurants, pubs, boutique shops and everyday amenities, creating the perfect balance between village charm and modern convenience.

Families are particularly drawn to the area thanks to its outstanding educational opportunities, with the highly regarded Edgbarrow School within easy walking distance, alongside a range of well-respected primary schools. For commuters, Crowthorne Railway Station provides direct connections to Reading and Gatwick, while the nearby M3 and M4 motorways offer excellent access to London, Heathrow and the South Coast.

Nature lovers are equally well catered for, with Swinley Forest, Wildmoor Heath and numerous local parks providing miles of walking, cycling and outdoor recreation. Whether you're looking for highly regarded schools, a strong sense of community, excellent transport links or beautiful green spaces, Crowthorne continues to be one of Berkshire's most sought-after villages for families and professionals alike.
