Description
Overview
Canterbury House, Marsh Lane, is a truly unique, 3 double bedroom, character, detached residence, extending to in-excess of 2,100 square feet over 3 storeys (including the cellar), and having been loved, cherished and much improved by the current owners, over the past 22 years, who have lavished much time, effort and capital into creating a truly wonderful and charming family home.
Proudly situated within the local Conservation Area, on an elevated plot in the heart of this highly desirable commuter village, this impressive, and deceptively spacious, residence demands an internal viewing to fully appreciate the bright, spaciously proportioned accommodation, which enjoys a wealth of original features throughout. The property further benefits from driveway parking, a detached double garage, and no upward chain.
Vendor Comments
We never thought we’d be lucky enough to own this house, yet 22 years ago, that is what happened. Outside and inside, it needed a lot of tlc, but it’s been our home; a place where our children grew up and then moved away.
Now it’s our turn to move on. The house is completely different and has lots of happy memories of significant events and good gatherings. We will miss it and miss living in Hampton in Arden. We’ve got great neighbours and count them among our friends. Hampton is a good place to be, with activities, support and facilities for all ages and an utterly brilliant, responsive medical practice.
When you make your first visit, we hope you feel the warmth of the home, like we did. We hope that, if it is the right house for you, you get to call it your home for a long time too.
