This superb detached four-bedroom coastal residence has been extensively refurbished and thoughtfully extended to create a beautifully presented home that combines period character with high-quality contemporary living. Immaculately maintained throughout, the property offers generous, light-filled accommodation with a carefully considered layout designed to make the most of its extraordinary setting.

At the heart of the home is a stunning open-plan kitchen, dining and family room featuring bespoke cabinetry, premium appliances, a substantial central island and vaulted ceilings. Extensive glazing frames spectacular coastal views while flooding the space with natural light. A central fireplace links this impressive room with the principal sitting room, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Additional ground floor accommodation includes a versatile reception room, currently used as a bedroom, together with a spacious utility room, cloakroom and an excellent range of stores and outbuildings.

Upstairs, the principal bedroom enjoys breathtaking sea views through glazed doors opening onto a Juliet balcony. Two further bedrooms and a well-appointed family bathroom complete the first floor, with one of the additional bedrooms also benefiting from stunning coastal vistas.

The property occupies an exceptional position at the southern end of an elevated peninsula, surrounded by open countryside and enjoying uninterrupted views across the English Channel. Located within the Jurassic Coast UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Heritage Coast and the National Landscape, it offers an unrivalled combination of privacy, natural beauty and dramatic scenery. The generous enclosed gardens are predominantly laid to lawn and complemented by mature specimen trees. A beautifully positioned summer house enjoys panoramic sea views and provides the perfect place to relax while watching the sun set over the coastline. Access is via a pedestrian pathway alongside neighbouring former coastguard cottages, with an established parking area located nearby. Rarely does a property combine such outstanding coastal scenery, exceptional privacy and beautifully appointed accommodation in one of the country's most remarkable waterfront settings.

What the Owner says:

We feel very privileged to have lived in Station Master's House for over 2 decades. It was love at first sight- its location, seclusion but at the same time only a short walking distance to the beach and the village and access to walking trails, with plentiful options for cycling, running and of course swimming.

Our treasures will forever include us breathing fresh sea air and listening to the winds. Looking at night sky full of twinkling stars. Enjoying uninterrupted views of the sea, fields and hills stretching over 270 degrees. The sun rising over the hills in different places through the year and then in the evening shining orange light through the windows. It's a magical place full of tranquility and a wonderful place for relaxation and meditation.

Our lives are telling us now that it's time to move on and it's time for someone else to enjoy what we have enjoyed for so long.
