Entry is gained into the property on the first floor level, into an entrance hall. The hall leads to the kitchen, two bedrooms and a shower room/WC. A stainless steel staircase leads to the upper level. Two porthole windows add character and allow natural light from the kitchen into the hall. The front facing bedroom is an excellent size with space for a range of furniture. The upper level consists of a lounge and a WC. The spacious lounge has French styled glazed doors that overlook and lead onto an external balcony which has views over the Main Street and onto the Forth. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy the summer sunshine. The specification includes double glazing and gas central heating. The property benefits from gardens at the rear, consisting of sitting areas, planted beds, steep section of lawn and a summerhouse at the top of the garden that provides a sheltered space to enjoy the open views over the Firth of Forth. The property has access to a shared drying green and a garden store on the ground floor of the building.
Location-
The village of Lower Largo is a picturesque fishing village on the east coast in Fife. The village was recently voted as one of the UK's top 50 villages by The Times, recognising its beaches, rockpools and local pubs. The village has a sailing club along with numerous leisure facilities provided within Largo and adjoining Lundin Links. The village is most famous for being the birthplace of Alexander Selkirk, immortalised as Robinson Crusoe in Daniel Defoe's classic novel. The East Neuk of Fife is home to some of the finest links golf courses, most notably St Andrews which is approximately 12 miles distant. The beaches of the East Neuk are superb and the Fife Coastal Path is a real walk on the wild side, the first walk of its kind in Scotland, which extends for approximately 78 miles, starting at the Forth Bridges and finishing beyond the Tay Bridge. It gives spectacular views which cannot be seen from the coastal roads. Leven Rail Station operates on the Fife Circle line to Edinburgh.
