4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
E14 is a convenient place to live, especially if you work in or around Central London. The area has plenty of green spaces and riverside walks, which make it feel less crowded than many other parts of London. There are also some great restaurants nearby: Royal China and Noodle Street in Canary Wharf are definitely worth visiting. Public transport is excellent, with several stations close by. One drawback is that street parking can feel a bit insecure. However, this isn't an issue for residents at Fizzy, as the development provides secure underground parking, which is a big advantage. Overall, it's a well-connected and pleasant neighbourhood with a good mix of city convenience and green surroundings.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Overall, the building management has been responsive and easy to contact. Most maintenance requests are acknowledged quickly, and smaller issues are often resolved within 24 hours. However, some more complex issues haven't always been followed up as consistently as expected and have required additional reminders. Despite that, the team is friendly and generally willing to help, and communication has been good throughout.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
We would like to better understand the location and layout of our apartment within the building. We noticed that our apartment is located near the smoke vent room, which appears to radiate excessive heat and creates additional warmth inside the apartment, particularly during the summer months.

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Shops: Plenty of local supermarkets, including Lidl, Tesco and Iceland. Smaller corner shops in the area have a range of ingredients - Greek food, Turkish food, Asian food, and more. There are also some Chinese supermarkets which are amazingly stocked, and of course there is the legendary Bargain Zone on Crisp St which sells pretty much everything. Restaurants: A number of Korean restaurants including Korean BBQ, and takeaways. There are a few cafes around including Brewed and Poplar Bakehouse. Bars: Lacking in this area, but Star of the East (nearby) and The Clement Attlee (Limehouse) are nice establishments. There are a few pubs in the Poplar area but they don't get too busy. Open spaces: Bartlett Park is opposite which has a lovely view of Canary Wharf and is great for catching some sun. Transport: Langdon Park DLR and Westferry DLR are a short walk away providing easy access to Canary Wharf for Jubilee Line and Bank. Stratford is also only 10 mins on the DLR. Santander bike rentals are available outside the building, and there are multiple bus routes, including the 115/15/N15 a short walk away that goes to and from central London all night. Street: On-street parking is available and underground parking is part of the property. Traffic noise isn't too bad, but occasionally at night there will be people driving their fancy cars very fast down the road. Antisocial behaviour is minimal, although sometimes there are people letting off fireworks in the park. Other things worth noting: InPost and Amazon lockers are available a short walk away, and Crisp St is a short walk away which has a post office, boots pharmacy, butchers, tailors, and of course the market.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Maintenance requests are easy to log in and app, and are often seen to the next day. It is so much easier having a management company to speak to instead of a landlord.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I could have more insight into what the 'Fizzy bills' cover - this is maybe a service charge but it isn't very transparent.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
For everyday shopping, Lidl is only around an 8-minute walk (or about a 5-minute drive), making grocery runs quick and easy. Transport links are also excellent. Westferry DLR station is around a 10-minute walk away, and my commute into Central London is straightforward. Canary Wharf is only one DLR stop away (or around a 17-minute walk), giving you easy access to a fantastic range of shops, restaurants, cafés, and bars. From Canary Wharf, you can also connect to the Elizabeth Line , Jubilee Line, and other transport options, giving you easy access travel across London. One of the biggest advantages of living at Fizzy Poplar is the convenience. Having an on-site parking space is a huge benefit, especially since secure parking isn't common in many London apartment developments. What truly makes Fizzy Poplar stand out for me, though, is the peaceful environment. Despite being so well connected, the development feels tucked away from busy main roads. The neighbourhood is quiet, surrounded by greenery and mature trees, and it's lovely waking up to birds chirping in the morning. As someone with a dust allergy, I really appreciate that the area feels much cleaner and less polluted than many other parts of London, with very little traffic noise. Another highlight is the proximity to Bartlett Park, which is just a short walk away. There is a beautiful cafe inside the park too! It's a beautiful green space that's perfect for morning walks, jogging, relaxing, or simply enjoying nature. Overall, Fizzy Poplar offers a combination that's surprisingly hard to find in London: excellent transport connections, easy access to shopping and Canary Wharf, peaceful surroundings, plenty of green space, and the convenience of secure parking. It's been a wonderful place to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
It has been a really positive experience, they've done a fantastic job. They usually respond to my maintenance requests within six hours and, in most cases, take action within 24 hours, except for larger jobs such as furniture replacements. Both the maintenance team and the customer support team handle every issue professionally and efficiently. Even if you request something outside of standard maintenance, such as removing unwanted furniture, they always do their best to help. The on-site team is also incredibly friendly, caring, and always willing to assist. A special thanks to Samson Miranda for his support since I moved in!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I would like to know more about my apartment’s orientation—what direction it faces, whether it receives direct sunlight, and how it behaves during different seasons, especially during summer and winter.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area’s location is fantastic. We cycle to central London and it’s quicker than the tube. For the tube, you have access to the city in 3 stops and it’s walking distance to Canary Wharf. There’s Tesco open late so it’s very accessible. We have not had any issues at all and we would stay again.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The team were great. Faisal in particular helped us from day 1, from moving in to our checkout. If there was ever an issue it was resolved literally the same day. This really improved the quality of our stay.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The Fizzy community is great, all the neighbours are also professionals and help each other out. We will miss the community in the building!
Manager's response5Dear Ali, Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a fantastic review of your experience with us. We’re delighted to hear how much you enjoyed the development, from the modern design and cleanliness to the overall layout of the estate. It’s especially great to know that you loved your apartment and those incredible views—being able to see both Canary Wharf and the city really is something special! We’re also pleased that the gym, 24-hour concierge, and underground parking added to your experience, and that you found the maintenance portal easy and convenient to use. We aim to make every aspect of living here as smooth and enjoyable as possible, so it’s wonderful to hear that reflected in your stay. Thank you again for your kind words—it truly means a lot to the whole team. We hope you continue to enjoy your home with us. Best regards, Fizzy Living Team
