A safe and fun place to live
The building’s design is curated beautifully and it feels very lux every time you enter. There is always a smiling face at reception, who will help you with anything you made need. (Thank you Belle!)
The facilities are all brand new and work really well. There are also social events that are great spaces to make friends and feel more comfortable. The charcuterie event was super fun!
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Great range of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Also beautiful living next to the sea with great walks along the coast. Unfortunately due to a fire, the trams are not running for a month or so, but there are buses available.
As a woman who lives by herself, I feel very comfortable walking around and also very secure when coming home as there is always someone on reception who'll keep an eye out.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
My fob wasn't working and they fixed it straight away. There haven’t been any other issues!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
They are quite open with everything when showing you around and will answer any question you may ask. Wish I’d have known about the pet waver so I could’ve been more prepared to fill it out before moving in!

Perfect home for our little family
Moving with a newborn could have been stressful, but the team made us feel welcome from the start. The building is spotless, secure and really easy to get around with a pram. We've especially appreciated how kind everyone has been, whether it's holding the door or stopping to say hello. The apartment is bright, quiet and has been the perfect first home for our family. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
We moved here shortly after having our baby and have loved the area. There are plenty of places to go for walks, shops close by for those last-minute essentials and it's easy to get into the city. It's always felt safe, even when coming home later in the evening.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Communication has always been friendly and professional, and any questions we've had have been answered quickly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish we'd known how family-friendly the building feels. More families have moved in since we did and it's been a lovely experience.

A lovely place to enjoy retirement
Having lived in a few different places over the years, I can honestly say this has been one of the nicest. The apartment is bright, warm and easy to look after, and I was impressed by the quality of the finish when I first moved in. The management team are friendly and helpful, but I'd especially like to mention Belle on reception. She's always smiling, happy to help and takes the time to say hello to everyone. It's amazing how much of a difference a warm welcome can make, and she's a real credit to the team. I feel very lucky to live somewhere with such caring staff.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
One of the things I appreciate most is how convenient everything is. I particularly enjoy walking along the waterfront, which is peaceful and well kept. The area feels safe and I've never had any concerns walking around. it's also noticeably clean, and the bins and communal areas are always well maintained.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very quickly and always with kindness. I've always felt listened to and kept updated.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I'd known how welcoming both the staff and the residents would be. It made settling in much easier.

Perfect place to call home
I've been living here for several months and couldn't be happier with my experience. The apartments are modern, well designed and finished to a high standard. The communal spaces are always clean and well maintained, and it's clear the recepton team takes pride in keeping everything looking its best. Whenever I've had a question or needed assistance, the team has been friendly and quick to respond. The building feels secure and well managed, and the facilities make day-to-day living very convenient. Overall it's been an excellent place to live.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location has been one of the biggest highlights for me. There are plenty of cafés, restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance, so I rarely need to travel far for anything. The waterfront is lovely for evening walks and there are good public transport links into the city centre. The area feels safe, well looked after and has a nice community atmosphere.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any small issues I've reported have been acknowledged promptly and resolved quickly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The storage space is better than it looked during the viewing.

Pet-friendly community where staff genuinely care
The fact that Dockside is properly pet-friendly makes such a difference, and the reception staff are absolutely lovely with her, they always take time to say hello. What really stands out is how familiar and approachable the team feels. They make a genuine effort to get to know residents, which creates a real sense of belonging. The gym is fantastic—spacious, well-maintained, and I love being able to use it at any hour. The events are becoming a highlight too; the charcuterie evening was brilliant and we're looking forward to what's coming next. It feels like the community is really developing.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Being close to Leith is a real advantage. There are excellent independent shops and local spots nearby where you can become a regular. It's the kind of neighbourhood where you feel part of the community, not just passing through.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The team are consistently helpful and approachable. They clearly care about residents' wellbeing and go the extra mile to make people feel valued.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
How welcoming and inclusive the community would feel. It's not just a place to live, it's becoming somewhere my family actively looks forward to spending time together.
