Nice & pleasant and ideal for short term but no good for growing families due to lack of storage space
Design of the home is lovely, very spacious and airy and the small amount of issues I’ve had in the last 6 years, have been eventually dealt with. The issue I have with the house is that there is no storage space at all, we aren’t able to use the loft space due to the hatch been way too small and it isn’t boarded out to use for storage anyway.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
In short distance to local shops, takeaways etc. I drive so don’t use any transport links. Our street is quiet despite the surrounding areas. The parking is sometimes a nightmare because the people in 1/2 beds still have up to 2 cars between them. The houses adjacent to the back of ours are awful and we’re constantly having issues with the state of the back alleys due to them(they’re not Placefirst)
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
In the 6 years I’ve been here, they’ve gotten a lot better and they respond to issues a lot quicker than they used to
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
What experience I’d have with the neighbours out the back and that we weren’t able to use the loft space as storage

The Green
Great development, facilities in the home are modern and good quality. Property managers Rachel and Dave are brilliant and really responsive to any issues - I had damp and it was sorted within weeks to a high standard. The designs are great and it’s a really lovely house.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Lovely local area, close to shops, restaurants and pubs. The green is fantastic and really well maintained.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Really quick response via phone or email, quick to visit and get things sorted.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
could do with more storage space - there’s nowhere to put anything in a one bedroom!

All good, except one thing that's making the entire experience difficult
The bathroom is the major let down in our property, the bathtub is tiny, my fiancé who I'm renting with wears size M clothes and I assumed, being a 2XL that maybe it'd just be me who can't fit in the bath, but he doesn't fit either, it'd fit a child, a teenager at best. And the toilet is horribly close to the bathtub and you have to sit on it diagonally.
The shower screen is also far too small to prevent water from the shower splashing out onto the rest of the room, no matter how careful you are or what setting you use, the bathroom is always soaking wet with splashes and puddles when you're finished.
We plan on living here for a long time, many years at least, and that was reasonable at first, but the bathroom situation is making it harder each day to see as a long term residence.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
We're currently challenging our Council Tax bracket, we were expecting our bracket to be Band A due to there being only 6 rooms in the property and no front garden and instead we're in Band B and it's a lot harder to afford. We understand it's not a designation you chose, however you can challenge the bracket, as you own the home, and it'd make life a lot easier for us, your clients.
I moved into this property from a 3 bed 2 bath with a front and back garden with almost double the square footage of the home, and my previous house was in Band A.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
When we had an emergency with our property, the landlord instantly sent someone out and it was fixed within 24 hours. However the smaller issues on our list of things that need addressing have not been touched upon for 3 months.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That the bathtub is FAR smaller than it looks and is impossible to use due to it's undesirably small size.

Amazing furnished home
We're new to the area and the only thing we miss having is a dining room. The layout is fabulous, accessible and very breathable.
We have permission to decorate how we like including adding fixtures and similar aspects that we couldnt luve without.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Despite a bad area being right around the corner the green is completely cut off from it. The area is calm and quiet and peaceful. The pub at the top of the green is a bit rubbish but you're close enough to town to waddle home anyway.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We havent had any issues yet but a job was already put on to fix a fan that was broken when we moved in.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The area doesnt have tbe best phone signal you only get 2 bars over here so wifi and phone calls are a bit shaky.

Manager's response
Hi Anthy,
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. It’s great to hear that you’re enjoying the layout of your new home and that it feels comfortable and breathable for you.
We’re glad the flexibility to decorate has made a difference and that the area feels peaceful despite being close to town. Thanks also for mentioning the phone signal. That’s a helpful point for us to note.
We hope the fan repair is completed smoothly, and we're always here if anything else comes up. Welcome to the community, and we’re so pleased to have you here.
