Description
Tucked into a popular residential pocket on the edge of Bromsgrove town, this three-bedroom semi has been through a genuine back-to-brick transformation, new roof, full rewire, new plumbing, the lot. What's left is a home that looks and feels brand new, built around a stunning open-plan kitchen, dining and family space with two sets of bifold doors, a sky lantern, and a floor-to-ceiling window framing the garden. Add a spacious lounge, a home study, and a handy ground floor shower room with utility, and you've got a family home that works as hard as it looks good. Bromsgrove town centre, with its shops, supermarkets, bars and cafés, is around a quarter of a mile away.
We asked them what made them buy it...
"The house was really dated when we first saw it, but it was empty and that space let us picture exactly what we could do with it. It's larger than an average house, it's a really quiet area, and it felt like home almost straight away. The neighbours are great, and there's so much within walking distance, The Dry Spy and Baileys are both brilliant for cocktails or a coffee, and we love the Halloween trail at Sanders Park and the Bromsgrove Festival and Social Eats events too. The train links are excellent, so getting around has never been an issue."
What about the house itself?
"We did a full back-to-brick renovation four years ago, new roof, full rewire and replaster, copper water and heating with all new designer radiators, two new bathrooms and a new kitchen, new windows and doors, a new drive and patio, and all new woodwork throughout. We added the office and a downstairs bathroom too. We spend most of our time in the office, it's such a good space to work without being disturbed, and in the kitchen and living space because it's just so easy to entertain in, especially with the outdoor lighting and power out on the patio. The sun's on the garden all day so it's perfect in summer, and the front room comes into its own in winter, we love it for cosy nights in at Christmas. Honestly, it's warm and comfortable whatever the time of year, brilliant for having people round, easy to work from, and just as good for chilling out after a Sunday roast."
Our agents say...
This is what a proper back-to-brick renovation looks like when it's done right, not a quick flip, but a home that's been thought through from the ground up. The kitchen, dining and family room is the real showstopper, with its floor-to-ceiling window and twin bifolds pulling the garden right into the room, and that unique oak parquet floor and brick slip wall give it real character. Every detail has had care taken over it, from the integrated dishwasher, fridge, wine fridge and double oven, to the built-in sound system in the kitchen and upstairs bathroom. There's a three-car driveway, a flexible third bedroom that works equally well as a dressing room or a double, and a garage with real potential for further living space if you want it. Add a downstairs shower room and utility, a home study, and a spacious lounge, and this is a family home that's completely move-in ready. It would suit couples and first-time buyers brilliantly, and it's a real find for anyone working from home or looking for a garden to enjoy. It sits in a popular spot on the edge of Bromsgrove, close to local shops, schools and Sanders Park, with excellent train links for commuters. It's plain to see how much love has gone into this one, and the sellers are only moving on for their next chapter, so get in touch today, this one deserves a viewing.
