4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Canning Town is more than meets the eye. City Island, Victoria Dock, the people, history and transport links all mean it's a desirable place to live. I found the GP surgeries awful so I registered with GP at Hand. I love the transport links (Tube, DLR and bus) and the local dog community is amazing. There are some great restaurants (Saltanat, Pepenero and MyMy). I loved being by the water and North Greenwich. You can walk to the Elizabeth Line at Custom House. Traffic and construction noise has been fine for a long time now. Back in 2024 it was deafening and constant so now is a good time to move here.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Brilliantly. They are very nice to deal with and efficient too.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
When I moved in it was very unstable team wise. There was no community spirit and I didn't like the attitude of residents who were allowed to do what they wanted. The building works in the area were loud and 24/7. Communal areas had works going on. The first year or so was actually challenging in places. I also am grateful I face the road because I know some people had a lot to contend with, noise wise, where they were facing the Tube or nearer the station end. Right now though I wouldn't say there is anything bad to be aware of. The conditions were strict before though but now the law has changed people have more rights in any case.

The area is lovely. It feels very safe and well connected. It’s less than a five minute walk from the Jubilee line, Lidl, Morrison’s I wake up and many other great restaurants and bars.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management was a breath of fresh air. The team members, especially Emma, were extremely responsive throughout my whole application process and so helpful and patient. She made the whole process so much easier and im so grateful to have worked with her. The building manager, Samson, also went above and beyond to speak with me and help me out and make sure that I was able to move in on time which I really appreciated. Incredible team!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I would’ve been a little bit more prepare for the process with all the documents ahead of time to make it a little bit shorter and easier on everybody.

Good: Great area still being developed Easy commutes and well connected Plenty of shops and things to do in and around the area Restaurants are great and options for takeaway are endless Not too many bars or pubs yet but there are a few Very clean and well managed area - a lot of funding has clearly gone into the area in the past few years

Same day resolutions and super helpful! There have been little issues though throughout my time here

It can be a little noisy with windows open because of the main road on one side and train tracks on the other side.

A very convenient location if you seek a quiet residential area in East London, the Tube and DLR stations are close by in 3 minutes. A couple of supermarkets and shops (Lidl, Morrisons, Sainsbury, Asian food shop, Superdrug) are located a 5-minute walk from the building. The area is totally safe and kid- and pet-friendly, with a nice park within a 10-minute walk from Fizzy East 16,
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They have been very prompt in solving even the tiniest problems or questions. Thankfully, we didn't have any major problems with our flat.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The furniture is standardised; if someone is a little bit picky and likes a cosy living area, it would be good for them to book a viewing to be sure it's the level of cosiness they seek.

The local area is very nice with parks and greenery nearby. It is also located close to shops and supermarkets and there are excellent transport links via the Canning Town station!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Maria was very helpful in the lead up to our move into Fizzy! She kept us well updated during the paperwork and admin stages, and answered all our questions with great detail. The move-in process was very straightforward and pleasant thanks to her support. We felt very well supported, thank you Maria!
