However, the best points of view comes from the flat's owner and here are their thoughts...

What attracted you to this specific property and location?

Aside from being close to the park etc., it is in a very green, peaceful area which is away from the centre and the City yet also quite near - you can dip in and out of the urban life of a big capital city like London. That is quite rare, in itself. Also what is also rare is finding a spacious flat with so much light overlooking a park in London in one of the most unique buildings in Prince Albert Road.

How convenient is it commuting from Viceroy Court?

Travelling around is very easy, it's about a 35 minutes' drive to the centre of the City and 15 minutes to Bond Street. (An Uber costs about £8-£12 to Bond Street and £13 - £17 to the City).

The underground takes 6 minutes to Bond Street and 20 minutes to the City, factoring in an extra 10-minute walk to St John's Wood tube station (St John's Wood is on the Jubilee Line - which can also take you straight to City Airport).

There is also a bus stop right in front of Viceroy Court taking you directly to Baker Street/ Oxford Street/Hyde Park.

However, you can always walk across Regent's Park and go for a nice stroll to Baker Street, Marylebone and right through to Oxford Street. There are plenty of great shops, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and cinemas along the way not just in St. John's Wood and the other areas nearby, but also in Primrose Hill, Swiss Cottage and Maida Vale, which you can easily reach by foot.

Walking along the scenic routes of Regents' Park Canal also takes you down to Little Venice and directly to Paddington Basin or north-eastwards the other way past Camden Lock and all the way to the newly regenerated King's Cross, also with plenty of shops, restaurants and recreational areas - you can also hop to Paris on the Eurostar at St Pancras International.

What can you tell us about the history of the property?

Viceroy Court was designed in the 1930s and you can see it in the architecture of the building- it has the large, rounded bay windows of the time, in both the master bedroom and reception rooms. We tried to maintain that 1930s look in the interior design, keeping it light with the inlaid wooden parquet flooring and doorways and letting in as much natural sunlight into the flat.

Who do you think would be the ideal next owner?

It's hard to say because I think it suits everyone! It is ideal for a young couple starting a family with the parks, several playgrounds and the Zoo close by, plus it's a safe area. Parents with young children, again access to the parks and kid-friendly and sports' amenities, also all the top schools are nearby. Even those with older kids/teens, it's a safe area and easy public transport access to central London means they can get around independently. It's also good for an older couple with everything they need easily accessible. Additionally, It's also a great investment opportunity if you decide to rent the flat out.

What do you like about Viceroy Court residents?

Everyone in Viceroy Court is very friendly and the porters are also on-hand to help out. Also many residents have lived in the block for a very long time, which is a very positive thing.
