Set on a quiet hillside above Domaso on the northern shore of Lake Como, this modern three-bedroom villa in Vercana, Italy, commands a wide panoramic view of the lake and the mountains that frame it. The elevated position keeps the house in sunshine for most of the day while the village below stays wonderfully calm.

The lakeshore and the old town and harbour of Domaso are a few minutes away by car - the beach there offers some of Lake Como's best conditions for swimming, surfing, kitesurfing and sailing, and the nearby ferry dock makes boat excursions across the lake easy. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance, and in winter the ski slopes of St. Moritz are around 1.5 hours by car.
