Description

Private and peaceful, and no one would guess it's five minutes from the M5. This apartment has been a very well kept secret.

Set within a small gated development in Oldbury, this bright third floor apartment offers two genuinely spacious double bedrooms, a fitted kitchen, a modern bathroom, and a living and dining room that makes the most of its garden aspect. The building sits around a beautifully maintained central courtyard with communal green space, resident garages and resident parking on site, there is a dedicated laundry space on each floor and the whole place has that rare quality of feeling both quiet and connected, with the M5 minutes away and Birmingham city centre reachable in around ten. Offers in the region of £165,000.

We asked them what made them buy it...

"It was the aspect overlooking the garden that got us straight away. We knew this was the one. It's a small gated community, so it's quiet, secure and relaxing, which isn't easy to find. And for getting around, you really can't beat it. We're a few minutes from the M5, and Birmingham centre is only about ten minutes away. Over the years what we've come to value most is just how tranquil it is here. It's a genuinely safe, good community, and that's what we'll miss."

What about the house itself?

"The lounge is where we've always spent our time, it's got real space to it and that window looks straight out over the garden. The garden itself is communal, but it's private and it always felt very safe, which mattered to us. We've kept on top of it too. New windows, new heating, new electrics with a new circuit board, new flooring, a new bathroom, and it's all been freshly decorated throughout. People who visit always comment on how spacious the rooms feel. And whatever the season, that view over the garden just changes with it. It's lovely all year round."

Our agents say...

Two proper double bedrooms is not a given at this price point, and this apartment delivers exactly that, along with a living and dining room with genuine breathing space and plenty of natural light. The fitted kitchen and modern bathroom mean there's nothing to do but move in, and the storage on offer makes everyday life easier than you'd expect from an apartment. Add in resident parking, that lovely central courtyard, and a setting that feels tucked away while still putting the motorway network and Birmingham city centre within easy reach; you've got a home that works brilliantly for a professional commuter, a couple after some peace and quiet, or someone looking to downsize without giving up on space. Fancy a look? Get in touch and we'll get you booked in.
