Absolute began in Torquay in 2010 with Founding Director Simon Fisher opening our doors as a small, independent estate agency with a straightforward ambition: to offer a fresh, more personal approach to property.
Since then, we’ve grown considerably, but we’ve never lost what made us different in the first place. We’re still proudly independent, still combine our local expertise and powerful network with unique property marketing campaigns, and still believe that success in estate agency comes down to people.
Today, our experienced team covers the whole of Torbay and the wider South Devon area, bringing together more than 200 years of combined local property experience. Over the years, we’ve built strong, genuine relationships with people across Torbay, getting to know not just the properties, but also the people who make the houses their homes. This local insight and understanding allows us to carefully match buyers with their perfect properties, while giving our clients the benefit of a huge depth of knowledge; from understanding the local market and getting the right price, through to negotiating a sale or managing a property once tenants have moved in.

Headed up by Director Darren Hole, who has worked in the Torbay property market since 1997, our sales team are highly experienced, Propertymark qualified professionals who know Torbay inside out. Our focus is to provide honest, straightforward advice combined with striking property marketing, including professional photography, bespoke brochures, videography, 3D virtual tours and targeted social media campaigns. Our specialist lettings team is overseen by Lettings Director Chelsey Earnshaw, who won the coveted 'Best Property Manager Gold Award' at the Sunday Times Letting Agency of the Year Awards, plus experienced lettings managers, dedicated property managers and accounts specialists. This means that landlords have a comprehensive team behind them who handle everything from finding the right tenant and managing the letting process through to compliance, ongoing property management and providing strategic advice to protect your investment.
