OWNERS COMMENTS

"This has been a much loved family home for over 40 years and has been the setting for countless family celebrations, barbecues and gatherings. It is a house that has always been a bright, peaceful place to come home to. One of the things we loved most is the setting. The house has wonderful views towards Ling & Sale Fells - ever changing across the year, and the large garden provides plenty of space to relax, entertain, play with pets or simply sit on the patio watching the birds. It's remarkably quiet and has always felt like a peaceful retreat. The village has a real sense of community, and growing up here was something very special. There are excellent local schools, a bus service just at the top of the hill and Cockermouth and Keswick are both easy to get to. Bassenthwaite Lake is nearby and with beautiful walks all around, we’ve had the best of all world’s. I hope the next owners will enjoy this home as much as my family has and create as many happy memories here as we did."
