My time at GQ
The property management team were always quick to resolve any issues cropping up, never had an outstanding issue for more than a day without a member of team reaching out. The efficacy meant I didn’t have to spend a huge proportion of my day worrying about issues related to the house.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Loved living here, it’s perfectly located at walking distance from Partick Station with a host of amenities close by.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, they have always responded promptly, I have never had a problem remain unattended for more than a day.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Ensure you get a reserved parking space and know if your apartment will be river facing.

Excellent accommodation in a great location with wonderful people
I’m very happy with the design of the building and the facilities. I have a studio flat and it’s a good size with its own balcony, the bed area is partitioned off so it feels like a 1 bed apartment. I have an excellent view over the river Clyde. The design is modern and very well presented, with only a few minor scuffs or markings throughout the flat. The building is very clean and well maintained, there is a communal residents lounge on the ground floor which is perfect for doing work on a laptop (there is also a Starbucks located conveniently next to the building). Events are arrange by the building management which is a very nice touch. There is also a very well equipped gym on the ground floor that has a whole suite of technogym machines and free-weights. There is a front desk which is manned 24 hours a day, and the staff there are incredibly friendly and helpful; Mengfan and Helena stand out, but all of the staff have been excellent. There is also a secure parcel room so I never have to worry about missing deliveries when I’m at work. The atmosphere in the building is great, and I’ve had no issues with noise or anti-social behaviour since I moved in a few weeks ago
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location is excellent, it’s right on the banks of the river Clyde so it has a fantastic view. It’s far enough away from commercial streets and any anti-social behaviour that it feels secluded and is not busy, but it’s close enough that the subway and supermarkets are only a 15 minute walk away. It’s also quite close to the west end of Glasgow, which historically is a trendy and sought-after area that has a range of shops and dining options. I have underground parking included in my rental agreement which is ideal, but the road leading to the building is quite narrow and can get busy with parked cars, although there is plenty of street parking on Castlebank Street which runs alongside the buildings
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I haven’t had any significant problems since I’ve moved in, but the staff on the front desk are always happy to help if I need any assistance
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I got a top floor flat for the view, but it can get quite warm on the hot summer days. Apart from that, I have only good things to say about this property

A Modern and Comfortable Riverside Development
Granary Quay is a modern and well-designed development that provides a comfortable living environment. The apartments are practical and finished to a good standard, while the communal areas are clean, secure and well maintained. The riverside setting is particularly attractive and adds to the overall appeal of the development. Building and property management have been very professional, and maintenance issues and enquiries are handled appropriately. Overall, I have had a positive experience living at Granary Quay and would recommend the development to others.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Granary Quay is a pleasant and convenient place to live. The area has good access to local shops, supermarkets, restaurants and public transport, while the riverside surroundings provide attractive open spaces for walking. The neighbourhood generally feels safe and peaceful, and I have not experienced any significant problems with noise or antisocial behaviour. The development provides separate bins for general waste, recyclable materials and glass. However, it would be even better to provide a separate food-waste.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, they have been very proactive in responding to any issues.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The apartments facing the roads can be a bit noisier.
