"The house has been a wonderful home- spacious, bright & airy. We’ve loved the social open-plan kitchen & dining room - or ‘everything room’, as we call it. Cool in the summer with the patio doors opening to the back garden, but super cosy in the winter with the wood-burner. We loved waking up with sun streaming in the master bedroom & then catching it at the end of the day in the garden. The street itself is quiet of traffic & full of lovely neighbours. There’s a real community feel."

The house

A part-glazed roof floods the space with light, while the walls have been finished in a deep matt natural clay paint for a soft, breathable finish. Rene Road is a small street of Victorian homes that occupy a popular pocket of this vibrant residential area of the city. Easton is renowned for its distinctive character and community spirit, and boasts a host of local amenities, attractions and community events that draw many visitors from outside the area. The area is well connected to the city centre and beyond by bike, road and train. Stapleton Road train station is less than a ten minute walk away, offering easy transit to Temple Meads, Redland, as well as Clifton Downs. The M32 and the A431 to Bath are both easily accessible.
