Description

Sellers view

The thing I love most about the location of this house is the short walk to Horseshoe Lake, I go there every morning and within a couple of minutes I am transported to a world away with gorgeous scenery and tranquil atmosphere. As well as the quiet estate, we have also enjoyed being within walking distance of shops, pubs and the village green.

The spacious driveway and ability to park 4 cars has been a huge benefit as there are currently 6 adults living in the house. The addition of two en-suite bathrooms in 2015 has ensured very comfortable accommodation for the whole family, which already provided 3 good sized bedrooms (so no arguing from the kids) and a fabulous master bedroom, which for me will be the hardest thing to leave.

The size, layout and versatility of the downstairs space has enabled us to adapt these rooms to accommodate our requirements since moving in in 2009, as the children grew and needs changed (including great options for home study & work during lockdown). The large garden has also been adapted from housing swing-sets and trampolines, creating football pitches and badminton courts to providing a great place for parties and BBQs.

We feel very lucky to have lived here for the last 17+ years and have many happy memories, we will all be very sad to leave.

Jack's Comment's

One of the things I liked most about this home was the amount of flexibility it offers. With three separate reception rooms, there's space to adapt as your family's needs change, whether that's a dedicated home office, a playroom or simply somewhere to escape with a book at the end of the day.

The kitchen sits alongside the dining and breakfast room, creating a sociable space for everyday family life, while the separate living room provides a quieter setting when you want to unwind. Upstairs continues the theme, with four well-proportioned bedrooms, two en suites and a stylish family bathroom, making busy mornings that little bit easier for a growing household.

Outside, the generous rear garden offers plenty of room for children to play, entertaining friends and family, or simply enjoying the warmer months. Along with a double garage and driveway parking, it's a home that's as practical as it is spacious.

The location is equally appealing. Firglen Drive is a quiet residential road within walking distance of Horseshoe Lake, Yateley High Street and well-regarded local schools, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer without relying on the car.

For anyone looking to upsize within Yateley, this is a home that offers generous living space, a fantastic plot and a location that's always in demand.

Area View

Yateley has long been one of north Hampshire's most popular places for families, and it's easy to see why. Combining excellent local amenities with plenty of green space, it offers a balance that's becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Firglen Drive is tucked away in a quiet residential setting, yet remains within walking distance of Horseshoe Lake, a favourite spot for walking, paddleboarding and enjoying the outdoors. Yateley High Street is also close by, offering a great mix of independent cafés, pubs, restaurants and everyday conveniences, while nearby supermarkets make the weekly shop straightforward.

For families, the area is well served by highly regarded schools, and commuters benefit from excellent road links via the M3, A30 and A327, with nearby train stations at Fleet, Sandhurst and Blackwater providing direct services into London.

Whether you're looking for more space, a stronger sense of community or easier access to both countryside and commuter routes, Firglen Drive enjoys a location that continues to be one of Yateley's most sought-after.
