2. Having the motorway almost on our doorstep has been brilliant, particularly with Glasgow and Edinburgh both easily accessible. Being well placed for both airports has also made heading away on holiday that little bit easier.

3. We`ve experienced so many milestones here. We navigated lockdown, progressed in our careers, got engaged, got married and welcomed our four-legged child Ralph into our lives. It`s been much more than a house to us.

4. We wanted to create somewhere we could properly enjoy when the weather was good, and that`s exactly what we`ve done. There`s space to sit outside and catch the sun throughout the day, whether we`re relaxing or having people round.

5. We`ve never felt short of room. There`s plenty of space when family and friends visit, yet when it`s just the two of us and Ralph, it still has that cosy, homely feeling we`ve always loved.

The lounge has a warm, contemporary feel with rich feature walls, wooden flooring and plenty of room for a generous sofa setup without compromising on space. It`s a room that manages to feel stylish while still being comfortable and homely.

To the rear, the kitchen is bright and fresh with white cabinetry, warm wood-effect worktops and plenty of storage and preparation space. There`s also room for a dining table, creating an easy everyday spot for meals, morning coffee or having friends round. A handy downstairs WC adds another practical touch.

Upstairs, both bedrooms are well proportioned, with the larger room offering excellent floor space and fitted mirrored wardrobes. The second bedroom is another versatile room, currently making an ideal home office but with plenty of scope as a bedroom, nursery or guest space. The modern family bathroom is finished in neutral tiling with a bath and shower above.

Outside is a garden the owners have really invested in. A generous lawn is complemented by a dedicated seating area at the far end, creating a private spot to follow the sunshine, relax with a drink or entertain on warmer days.
