Description

Situated within a peaceful cul-de-sac in the popular market town of Loddon, this charming two bedroom semi-detached home enjoys versatile accommodation allowing for modern living with no compromise.

The property occupies a plot with open aspects to three sides and benefits from a generous driveway providing ample off-road parking. Well maintained and tastefully presented, the home is ready to move straight into, with replacement windows and doors installed approximately five years ago and a new central heating system fitted in late 2025.

The welcoming reception room is well proportioned and filled with natural light, offering comfortable space for both sitting and dining. To the rear, the kitchen provides a good range of units, appliance space and room for a small dining table, with direct access onto the garden.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, including a particularly generous principal double, along with a versatile second bedroom suitable for guests, a nursery or home office. The modern family bathroom completes the accommodation.

A particular highlight is the surprisingly spacious rear garden, which enjoys a peaceful, largely non-overlooked aspect. Mature planting and established greenery create a private and inviting outdoor space, ideal for relaxing and entertaining.

Poppy Close is a popular location, combining a quiet residential setting with easy access to Loddon's excellent range of shops, cafés, pubs, schools and everyday amenities. The Norfolk Broads and surrounding countryside are close by, while Norwich city centre is also readily accessible.

Available 18th September.

LODDON
Lying on the River Chet, Loddon is a small market town with so much on its doorstep. With lots of history here, the town is centred around a 15th century church, the Holy Trinity.

There are an assortment of local shops, eateries and pubs - along with a good number of local walks. There are also an assortment of schools nearby, covering all ages and this includes Langley School - a well-renowned independent school offering day, weekly, flexi and full boarding.

Loddon is within the bounds of The Broads National Park, which is the largest protected wetland in Britain.

The town is well situated to reach areas in both Norfolk and Suffolk and the ancient city of Norwich is only a 30 minute drive as well as nearby towns Bungay and Beccles only a 15 minute drive, offering plenty of amenities and lovely country pubs, eateries and river walks.

Named as one of the best places to live in 2021, Norwich lies approximately 20 miles from the coast at the confluence of the River Yare and the River Wensum, the latter still bending its way through the heart of the city.

When the bright lights call, trains to Liverpool Street take just 90 minutes, and the city’s airport flies to a number of UK destinations, as well as direct to Amsterdam.
