Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living on Silbury Boulevard is exceptionally convenient. Being directly opposite Centre:MK (and John Lewis) makes shopping, dining out, and grabbing everyday essentials effortless. The proximity to Campbell Park provides fantastic green space just a short walk away. Transport links are great, with quick access to Milton Keynes Central station. Traffic noise is minimal, bin collections are handled efficiently, and the area feels very safe. Parking in the central zone can be busy at peak hours, but overall, it's a brilliant location.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Management has been prompt, approachable, and proactive whenever an issue arises. Minor maintenance requests submitted via the portal are usually dealt with within 24–48 hours, and communication from the team on site is always clear and professional.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew just how vibrant the resident community events would be—it's worth keeping an eye on the resident portal updates so you don't miss out on socials! Also, factor in peak delivery times for the parcel collection system, though overall it runs very smoothly.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Nice location to the park and shopping mall, also very convenient to go to the station if needed. Sometime at night time this location attracts strangers and street racers but that's acceptable if you're inside your cozy place to stay!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

issues with appliances happens very often but so far manageable

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

how hot is the building and apartments, AC is a must.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We have had a fantastic 5 years living at the Forge. It is very central and near many bus stops in central Newcastle and the metro. Of course the station is only a 10 minute walk away as well which has been fantastic for work and travel. Although the trainline is nearby the soundproofing is very good and we have never had any issues with noise. Only a 15/20 minute walk from central town so have great access to food and drinks venues. I cannot comment on parking as do not drive and am unaware of the situation

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have had very few issues other than the occasional flat repair or lost keys. Front desk helpful and quickly resolved our problems. Regarding repairs we had our oven and washing machine stop working on separate occasions and within days we had brand new ones delivered and installed without issue

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I cannot think of anything I would have liked to have know. We shall be very sad to leave after 5 years of renting at the Forge and would highly recommend

Extremely helpful. Issues are acknowledged immediately and sorted efficiently.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How absolutely wonderful it would be! This was my first home out of uni and I couldn’t have loved it more!

    Fortunes Dock, E16

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I think it’s a great area with supermarkets and a Chinese market nearby. It’s also really close to the tube station and bus station. Very easy to get to the city. It’s not a quite residential area. Probably that’s the only disadvantage.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They are great . They helped me a lot during the move out process!!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Not really. They have gym. So feel free to use that
