OUR THOUGHTS

This is a really good, solid house with a practical layout and some particularly valuable extras. Parking for two cars is a huge advantage on Compstall Road, while the rear garden has been thoughtfully improved with stone paving, lawn, sleeper detailing and a second seating area.

Inside, the ground floor has been opened up to create an L-shaped kitchen, dining and living space that works well for everyday life.  We love the dark green cabinetry in the kitchen and the garden is attractive yet easy to manage with a hand shed.

Upstairs, the rear principal bedroom is an excellent size, comfortably accommodating a king-size bed with built-in wardrobes either side of the chimney breast. The second bedroom is another good-sized room with views towards Brabyns Park and the Cherry Tree area, alongside a third single bedroom and a smartly presented bathroom.

There are areas of the house would benefit from some redecoration, but the major works are done so you can take your time choosing your style.

About eXp UK, North West

114 St. Martin's Lane London WC2N 4BE

eXp UK are the newest estate agency business, powering individual agents around the UK to provide a personal service and experience to help get you moved.

Here are the top 7 things you need to know when moving home:

Get your house valued by 3 different agents before you put it on the market

Don't pick the agent that values it the highest, without evidence of other properties sold in the same area

It's always best to put your house on the market before you find a property

The estate agent acts for the seller and is there to get the seller the best price possible

Understand the length of time it can take - 14 weeks from when you accept an offer, or have an offer accepted to move in! A long time!

It can get stressful, but speak to your agent and your solicitor and they will put you in the picture

Be nice to estate agents - we're pretty nice people, offer some great advice and will help to get you moved ;-)
