Description

"The community in Long Ashton is wonderful, particularly on our road. Many of us moved in around the same time, so we’ve all got to know one another really well. This house will always be incredibly special to us, as it’s where we brought our daughter home. Some of my favourite things are the beautiful view from the top bedroom, the morning light that fills the house, and the open-plan downstairs space. We’ve hosted so many happy parties and Christmases here—including one year when we managed to seat and feed 17 people! Balloon Fiesta weekend is also magical, when you can watch the hot-air balloons drifting across the sky."

The Home

A well-presented three-bedroom townhouse arranged over three floors, with an open-plan living space, generous bedrooms and off-street parking for two cars.

The ground floor has an entrance hall leading into the main kitchen/living room. The kitchen is positioned to the front with grey cabinets, marble effect worktop space and a breakfast bar while the rear of the room provides space for both sitting and dining areas. French doors open directly onto the garden, bringing in plenty of natural light. There is also a downstairs WC off the hall.

The first floor has two bedrooms, one overlooking the front and the other the rear which has space for a king sized bed, along with a family bathroom fitted with a bath, WC and basin. The rear bedroom would work well as a child’s room, guest room or home office. There is ample storage on the landing and in the bedrooms.

The top floor is arranged as a generous main bedroom, with bespoke built-in storage, space for a desk or dressing area and its own en-suite shower room. The elevated position also gives this room a wide outlook across the surrounding village and countryside.

Outside Space

To the rear is an enclosed garden, accessed directly from the open-plan living space.

There is a patio area immediately outside the French doors, with space for outdoor seating and dining. The garden is low-maintenance and well suited to everyday use, with fencing to the boundaries and room for planting, children’s play or summer entertaining. On the estate there is two allocated parking spaces and bike and bin storage.
