    Alameda, Wembley Park, HA9

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Alameda is the most amazing place to live, so much on one's doorstep: the stadium world-renowned architectural iconic venue for the greatest concerts and sports events; the Arena another architecturally iconic period-style venue for events of all types; the outlet with knockdown prices - all the main high street stores represented here: sports and gym facilities of every conceivable type, bars and restaurants to suit every taste and the buzz that is BoxPark. Within Alameda you will be met by the most genteel and obliging staff led by Kassy. Without exception every member of the managerial team are top-drawer with 24/7 concierge cover, reliable cleaners and Tim & Bob the highly efficient maintenance men. I have lived with my wife and daughter for some four years in this building and service was never as good as it is currently. The physical structure of the building makes it one of the best built in the new Wembley "City": gardens on three levels with eating, barbecue, pagoda areas, and outdoor cinema facility; gym onsite with free usage of larger gym in ajoining Beton; best workstation of any apartment block in the vicinity; the Sala Lounge for private meeings or parties should you so choose; library, television relax-chill out area with useful implements for hire including dyson, printer, games and a dispensing machine with snacks all on the Yellow Road on the mezzanine floor. There is a great sense of community fostered by the management and I have made many friends in the building. Above all, since Allsop took over matters have markedly improved. There were initial glitches but these were unquestionably inherited issues. They have all been satisfactorily resolved. The interior of the apartments is chic and cool. I simply cannot recommend highly enough life at Alameda with our new team and management company. Come live here - you will be thrilled. Simon Harris 1025 Alameda.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any problems and issues have been dealt with promptly. There was a Water Issue for a number of days but the team arranged hourly rosters so that everyone could take a shower and freshen up in the adjoining Allsop building Beton where there were a number of vacant apartments. I took advantage of this and so the inconvenience was minimal plus we were supplied with as many water bottles at no charge as we needed and the offer of using a hotel for c.£200 per night was made. I cannot magine what more the company could have done!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

When you factor inthat you can have a parking spot and there are storage pods too: there really is every conceivable comfort and facility you could hope for. I don't think that I fully appreciated the total wrap-around care on offer. Residents have even augmented the library on the Yellow Road [Mezzanine] with good quality volumes that they have read and donated them to the general collection. There is also a kitchen adjacent to the workstation, two televisions one in the general area, the other in the Sala and likewise two mini-fridges to cool your beers or proseco!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Such a good location! Walking distance to Deansgate and 5 mins from Cornbrook tram stop. There’s a co op, Tesco express and Morrisons within 5 mins as well.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Always respond very quickly with a solution! Extremely helpful!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Use the building app! Super helpful for selling or getting a bargain on furniture etc.

    Duet MediaCityUK, M50

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I don't have a bad word to say about the local area in regards to Duet. Though there is currently a waiting list for the on-site parking, there is a large amount of other car-parking options nearby with reasonable prices and great accessibility. The bin collections are very straight forward, with a large amount of bin availability for the building. I haven't experienced any anti-social behaviour. There is minimal traffic noise despite being close to a busy area of Salford Quays. There are transport links (e.g. trams and buses) which stop right on the doorstep to the building. There are many local shops within working distance (closest being about 2-5mins away). Additionally, there is a wide range of social venues round the corner in the middle of Salford Quays. Access to Manchester city centre is also easy.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The concierge is very easy to contact and very fast at responding. The general management staff reply quickly to emails, and any maintenance on the building is communicated to us in a timely manner.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Maybe it would've been useful to be made aware of the concierge's role within the building. We have gathered that they are very helpful at referring us to the correct people, dealing with any deliveries etc., but in fact they are a lot more than that. The concierges are a lot more approachable than we first expected, and this is a credit to the landlord/company.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Convenient walk into town, convenient shops nearby, nice cafes and bars. Also living near the water is great

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes every time I have an issue they are quick to respond and action, and nothing is a problem

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The price of parking ! Even tho I don’t have a car, it’s hard to have visitors who drive due to price of parking nearby

    Podium, M16

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location has been one of the biggest surprises for us. Transport links into central Manchester are fantastic, while Didsbury and Chorlton, two of our favourite places, are so close that there is always somewhere new to explore. M&S being around a five-minute walk away is also a huge win for me! We’ve felt very safe here too. There’s a police station on the same road and a speed camera nearby. We’ve personally had no issues with speeding or antisocial behaviour. It gives us the best of both worlds: easy access to Manchester and some lovely surrounding areas, while still feeling like a comfortable place to come home to.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Excellent. We had an issue with our tap and the team dealt with it the very same day. Communication has always been easy and the management team are approachable, responsive and genuinely helpful. Natalie in particular brings such positive energy to the building and always makes you feel that nothing is too much trouble.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I’d known just how much of a community Podium would become. I expected a beautiful apartment and great facilities, but I didn’t expect the resident events to introduce us to so many neighbours or for the team to make the building feel so personal. My advice to anyone moving in would be: get involved in the events! They’ve been one of the unexpected highlights of living here.
