Description

Beautifully renovated, effortlessly stylish and positioned in one of Cambuslang`s most convenient family locations, this three-bedroom semi-detached home is the definition of move in ready.

Five things our current owners love about their home:

1. Our south facing garden. We absolutely love the garden. It`s private, peaceful and catches the sunshine throughout the day. Opening the patio doors straight onto the decking makes it feel like an extension of the house, whether we`re relaxing outside or having family and friends round.

2. The fantastic location. We get the best of both worlds here. The street itself is quiet with very little passing foot traffic and lovely neighbours, yet Newton Train Station is around a 12- minute walk away and Glasgow city centre is roughly 20 minutes by train. Having shops, a pub, two schools and a play park within walking distance has made everyday life incredibly convenient.

3. The amount of storage. The large kitchen cupboard has been one of those features we probably didn`t appreciate enough until we had it. There`s loads of room for household essentials, which keeps the kitchen organised and means everything has its place.

4. Our own double parking. Having a private double parking bay has been brilliant for a two car household. Both cars can come and go independently, so there`s no hunting for a space or constantly moving one car to let the other out.

5. The wonderful community. Newton Farm has a genuinely friendly and supportive community. Our neighbours are always willing to help, and the local residents` Facebook group is brilliant for everything from finding trusted trades people and asking for recommendations to keeping up with what`s happening locally.

Every part of this home feels considered. Soft neutral interiors, contemporary finishes and an abundance of natural light create a calm, polished feel throughout, while the layout gives families the practical space they need without compromising on style.

The lounge is a fantastic example. Generously proportioned and beautifully finished in a warm neutral palette, there`s plenty of room for substantial seating while still retaining a bright, uncluttered feel. A contemporary feature fireplace creates a natural focal point and gives the room that cosy finish you want when it`s time to switch off.

At the rear, the kitchen and dining area is one of the real highlights. Sleek cabinetry, integrated appliances and generous worktop space create a clean, modern finish, while the dining area sits perfectly alongside. Patio doors open directly onto the decking, connecting the kitchen with the garden and creating a brilliant setup for summer entertaining.

The kitchen also hides one of those practical features you quickly wonder how you ever lived without a large storage cupboard, providing valuable space for household essentials while keeping the main kitchen beautifully organised.

Upstairs are three bedrooms, each continuing the home`s bright and immaculate presentation. The main bedroom is a relaxing double with excellent fitted storage, while the remaining rooms provide flexibility for children, guests or working from home. A fresh, contemporary family bathroom completes the upper level.

Outside, the south facing rear garden is a huge part of this home`s appeal. A decked area immediately outside the patio doors creates the perfect spot for outdoor furniture and entertaining, while the generous lawn provides plenty of room for children and pets. Private, enclosed and catching the sunshine throughout the day, it`s a garden designed to actually be used.

There`s excellent practicality at the front too, with a private double parking bay making life particularly easy for a two-car household.

What really completes the package, however, is the location. Set within a popular family development, Lapwing Drive combines a quiet residential environment with excellent everyday convenience. Newton Train Station is around a 12 minute walk away, two primary schools are close by and local shops, a pub and children`s play park can all be reached on foot.

For buyers looking for a home where the renovation has already been done, the garden is ready for summer and commuting into Glasgow couldn`t be much easier, Lapwing Drive is going to take some beating.
