The Sant'andrea Estate is situated in one of the most unique locations in the Como area: Lake Montorfano. Upon entering, we are greeted by an elegant entrance hall with exposed stonework leading to the main hall, characterised by large windows offering a panoramic view of the lake and allowing natural light to flood the space. On this floor there is a covered veranda, ideal for hosting a large number of guests for musical entertainment and dancing. The natural elements of exposed stone and timber trusses dominate the entire structure. The floor is completed by a fully equipped kitchen and guest facilities. On the first floor, two elegant, finely furnished dining rooms offer cosy spaces for more intimate evenings and dinners. This room also overlooks the lake directly through large windows, where the lake interacts directly with the interior spaces, creating a magical atmosphere. On the same floor are the kitchens and guest facilities. The 12 guest rooms are located in the east wing of the building. Each has its own en-suite bathroom, beautiful cross-vaulted ceilings, and many enjoy lake views. Today, they serve as accommodation for the bride and groom or guests on the night of the event. The wonderful monumental park dominates the entire setting. It is elegant and designed to provide the perfect backdrop for unforgettable events and moments. It features a vast, immaculately maintained lawn, surrounded by tall trees, flowerbeds and stone paths. The park slopes gently down to the very edge of Lake Montorfano, offering a breathtaking panoramic view and a magical, idyllic light created by the emerald green of the lawn and the blue of the water. Today, it is used to host the welcome drinks, outdoor buffets and the cake-cutting ceremony. The Sant'Andrea restaurant, now closed, has received significant accolades such as the Gambero Rosso's 2 Red Forks, as well as the prestigious Luogo Ameno award for the hotel. This wonderful estate is a sound investment for those wishing to maintain or expand the already renowned business. It is also an ideal location for a prestigious residence in a unique setting . Legend has it that the lake was formed from the tears of Mount Orfano. This mountain, lonely and abandoned because it stood apart from the others, was finally able to see its reflection in the lake thus formed, feeling less alone.
