Description

Situated on a peaceful residential road in one of South Woodford’s most sought-after pockets, this beautifully individual three-bedroom Edwardian home is full of charm, character and personality. Among it's many highlights is the elegant through lounge, spacious kitchen/diner, mature rear garden, wealth of original features and generous 1,243 square feet of living space.

As for the location, you’re perfectly placed to enjoy the best of both worlds. Epping Forest and Roding Valley are both within easy reach for weekend walks, while South Woodford’s thriving high street, Central line station and excellent schools are all close by, making this a firm favourite with families. Locals know the area as a real gem, a no through road setting with rows of traditional housing.

IF YOU LIVED HERE…

From the moment you step inside, you’ll appreciate the warmth and personality that flows throughout this characterful Edwardian home. Original features have been lovingly retained, while every room has its own distinctive feel, creating a home that’s as welcoming as it is memorable.

The beautifully proportioned through lounge is a wonderful place to relax or entertain. The generous proportions, high ceilings and large bay window flood the space with natural light, while original floorboards, decorative coving, picture rails and handsome fireplaces provide all the charm you’d expect from a home of this era.

To the rear, the spacious kitchen/diner is every bit as individual. Bursting with colour and creativity, it’s a sociable space with plenty of room for cooking (it’s even got a range-style cooker), dining and gathering with family and friends, while French doors lead directly out to the garden.

Stretching to around 21 metres, the rear garden feels wonderfully private thanks to its mature planting. Whether you’re enjoying a morning coffee on the patio or entertaining during the warmer months, it’s a peaceful extension of the living space.

Upstairs you’ll find three comfortable bedrooms, each beautifully presented and full of natural light, alongside a spacious family bathroom that serves the first floor.

When it’s time to head out, you’re spoilt for choice. Epping Forest and Roding Valley provide miles of walking and cycling routes, while South Woodford offers everything from independent cafés and restaurants to Waitrose, Marks & Spencer and an Odeon cinema. South Woodford station is around 0.7 miles away, putting Liverpool Street within easy reach via the Central line.

A WORD FROM THE OWNER...

"Wynndale is a peaceful cul-de-sac that offers the perfect balance of tranquillity and community. It is a quiet and safe road where neighbours genuinely know and look out for one another. The community is made up of people of all ages, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that has made it a wonderful place to live.
We have had the pleasure of watching many of the children including ours on the road grow from primary school through secondary education, before heading off to university and embarking on exciting careers. It is a road where families put down roots, friendships are formed, and memories are made.
The house is ideally located just a short walk from Churchfields Junior School, which has an Outstanding Ofsted rating and has provided an exceptional start in education for many local children. Also within easy walking distance is Woodbridge High School, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, offering an excellent secondary education and a strong reputation within the local community.
The house itself is filled with natural light thanks to its beautiful large Edwardian windows. The generous proportions of the rooms, wide hallways, and spacious landing create an airy, elegant feel throughout. The large, long garden provides plenty of space for children to play, entertaining family and friends, or simply enjoying the outdoors in a peaceful setting.
It has been a fantastic place to raise a family, and we hope the next owners will enjoy it as much as we have."
